I can't say enough great things about Brittany and her dog sitting and training services! From the moment I reached out, she was responsive, professional, and clearly passionate about dogs.
She’s such a caring, attentive sitter who made sure my dog (Chai) felt at ease while I was away, sending regular updates and photos that really put my mind at ease.
But what really stands out is her dog training skills. Brittany’s approach is kind, patient, and effective. She tailored the training to suit Chai’s personality, and I saw noticeable improvements in just a few sessions. Chai became more confident and well-behaved, and the positive reinforcement method Brittany uses made all the difference.

If I could give more stars I absolutely would. We first encountered My Fine Canine in July of 2024 when we had Brittany take our 6 mo old dachshund Pepper for a 2 week board and train. Our girl came back such a good girl. We were so happy with the board and train we decided to continue training and daycare with Brittany and I can’t begin to express how much of a joy she has been to work with. We love Brittany and plan to continue daycare with her as long as she’s available. 100/10 would recommend. More...

Our puppy, Julius, had separation anxiety and low stress tolerance. After working with Brittany for 3 weeks, he came back to us more confident and adaptable. She got him on a regular schedule and 2 feedings a day. She even somehow resolved his chronic tummy problems. Brittany is kind and consistent. Two of the most effective traits for good discipline. For us, Brittany used the “balanced” method with the Educator collar. It makes for a more secure dog who understands intrinsically what the rules are in your household, rather than one who is nervous and confused. If you follow her lead after your dog comes home, the results are wonderful. Brittany is an excellent communicator. She answers questions succinctly and intelligently and is very open to discussing your concerns. She also offers post-training boarding where you can opt for a brush up (or not), and her rates are competitive. Highly recommend!!! More...

Private lessons
I offer private one-on-one lessons for local San Diego residents. If you are located outside of the San Diego county, I highly recommend considering one of my board and train programs. This ensures that you and I can stick to the most consistent method of trading and accomplish your goals.

Boarding takes place in a home environment.
