Love is a great cycling studio - they have a music video wall which makes them unique and a good class feels more like a party than a workout. The instructors are supportive and will push you while still being positive. It takes a while to get used to the pulses and tap backs, but it's worth it. I like that they have combination lockers, showers, and a luxe feeling studio. Try a class with Jennifer G., Megan or David. Also - they have free parking!! More...

Attended two cycling classes here while I was in Austin for work. The studio was a really easy one to drop in to with helpful front desk staff, an easy layout, and simple lockers. They are on classpass or you can pay the single drop in rate which is comparable to most drop in cycling class fees. The classes themselves were also really fun, although a little more heavy on the choreography and high RPM songs. If you like soulcycle you will love these classes, but if you prefer performance/heavier gear classes they might be a little fast. More...

I was visiting Austin for my first time and was only staying for a few days. I easily found this place and am SO happy I did. I had Jennifer C. and she was literally amazing - she even gave me a little shout out on stage. From the moment I walked in, everyone in the studio was so welcoming. I had a quick little tour and they have plenty of staff there willing to help you on your bike if you need it. The music, the vibes, the environment, literally couldn't stop talking about this place when I came home. I consider myself pretty fit, but Jennifer pushes you and had us do a KILLER arm song with weights. Post spin, the cold towels that were handed out as soon as you walk out of the class were such a perfect touch. Left the class dripping sweat and grabbed a complimentary banana on the way out. I also tried Soul Cycle in Austin the next day, but Love was my favorite. More...

I am a serious cyclist training for two big events next year. Saw this place online while visiting Austin and quickly made a reservation. Had my doubts. They don't have bikes that measure power output, cadence nor have a board that makes the class competitive BUT damn! Take a class with DAVID GARZA and be prepared to be flogged!!! HIGH ENERGY, relentless intervals out of saddle and in. Lots of tap backs and arm work in the hour long workout. The space is small but has it all. Showers, lockers, shoes, free bananas and coffee. The place is packed and often on a wait list because of this guy. This place is legit. The gals are hellafit too. More...

Took a bit of a hiatus from LOVE while work travel picked up. I went to the 10:30 Sunday class this week and it was amazing! Loved Jenn's positive spirit and the variation in song types (aka I'll suffer through a fast jog if there's a hill sprint and some dancing too) she mixed it up a lot, which was great. Looking forward to picking back up here again. I'd highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a fun but tough workout. I also sprint at the end for those cold scented towels...best ever. A lot of studios and gyms are taking the cheap airline approach of nickel and diming for everything from towels to snacks - really nice that LOVE has free towels, coffee, and bananas. More...

This studio will always be near and dear to my heart. It was the very first spin class I ever experienced. One of my good friends took me ensuring me I would fit in and be comfortable. I am a thicker girl so I was a tad bit nervous to say the least. When I say this is a safe space, I mean it fully. Since that class, I have fallen in love with spin and I go regularly. Lululemon started "The Practice Club" which naturally I had to join. This month club sweat is at Love Cycle. Here we go! ! It was so much more than I expected! The instructor (David) is hands down my favorite instructor of any group class anywhere (and I travel a lot for work). The energy was literally food for my soul. The music was delicious! The moves were savory and spicy! I absolutely loved this class. Everyone was engaged and feeding off the excitement that never fizzled the entire hour we rode, climbed, danced or raced. One of the team staff members gave out high five to every single rider (and there were about 40 of us) then he hopped on a bike a joined us. Here's another nugget for you....they even brought out a candles cupcake and sang happy birthday to a rider. This is exactly the kind of place that makes you feel alive and completely welcomed. Sweat drenched and 524 calories burned - I determined I will totally go back and ride again. Side note: I am rhythmically challenged. I can't hear a beat to save my life - which is why I typically avoid classes like Zumba or kickboxing. But...you know what? It literally doesn't matter. The ride and atmosphere is so amazing; you won't even notice. You have to try it! More...

This studio is great. The location is super, the bikes are very comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Almost all of the instructors are fantastic. I would recommend them without hesitation. I did have an experience with an instructor this morning which I thought was strange. I took a class with Emily who started the class standing at the front barefooted. Then after she got us going on the first song she proceeded to put her cycling shoes and socks on. She had been there several minutes before class started so it's not like she arrived late and ran out of time. What's with that? More...

I LOVE LOVE! It's hard for me to put into words how amazing this studio is. To even say it's just a spin studio isn't doing it justice. Love is so much more than that. When I first moved to Austin, I didn't know that many people and was looking for an exercise class. I found Love through Yelp and started going regularly. After only a few times, Morgan knew my name. She would always be the first person I saw when I came in and the last person to say good bye to me when I left. I felt seen in such a huge city and started to feel like I belonged. When I enter the spin room, I'm immediately greeted by Marcus. He always has a huge smile on his face no matter what. Even when he's running around making sure everyone is set up or setting people up in the complete dark. Right before we start, he gives everyone a high five. I can tell he loves being there and that contagious energy always pumps me up for class. When I'm in Megan's class I feel like the world around me stops. The only thing I focus on is myself and the bike. Megan taught me that. Her positive, fun energy lights up the room and she creates a space where you can be whoever you want to be. I've laughed, I've cried, and I've left all my anxiety, fears and stress on the bike. Every day I walk into that room, I'm so grateful that I have crossed paths with her. Love is so more than a spin studio. It's a place where you feel seen, heard and where you know you belong. More...

My boyfriend bought me a five class pass here for my birthday. It was the highest rating studio in the city, so he wanted me to give it a go! I have a very difficult schedule between work and having a child. I was lucky enough to have some time after work to try out a class. I chose the 6pm class with Kim. I got out of work later than I expected so I called the studio. I asked if it was okay for me to be about 5 minutes late and they said yes. I was asked if I wanted a water on my bike and I said yes. I also told them which weights I wanted. I found parking very easily and headed right in! To my surprise, the staff was fully prepared to help me out as soon as I walked in. One lady helped me to the lockers and put my belongings in a locker while I changed my shoes. Then a gentleman (I believe his name was Marcus) was actually waiting for me to guide me to the right bike. I was so excited to get going right away. He lead me in and helped me get the bike adjusted to the right height and helped me snap my shoes in. I should say that this was only the third cycling class I’ve ever taken, (first time here) so I really appreciated the extra help. My water, weights AND towel were already set up on my bike! I hopped right on and got going. The theme of the ride was hip hop. I have to admit, it’s not my personal choice of workout music, but Kim made an incredible mix and I was actually super into it! During the workout she called out my name and really got the crowd pumped up! I loved the different color lights and the energy of all the riders. A cyclist next to me even high fived me, and I didn’t even know her. Shoutout to bike 32 ;) Everything about this class was incredible. I am beyond excited that I have more classes to attend here! IF I had to say one thing that wasn’t 100% was that after the class I was charged $3 for the bottle of water! Yikes! I had brought my own water, but when I was asked if I wanted a water already on my bike (on the phone) I wasn’t made aware of the charge. I think that’s steep for a bottle of water and will continue to bring my own. Ultimately that doesn’t break my awesome experience and if I had shown up on time, I’m sure I would have been made aware of that additional cost. The entire staff pulled together to get me in the class upon my arrival and made my workout so fun! Thanks so much, LOVE team! Everyone here is so nice and works very well together.
