I've used Nicole/Jolly Paws Pet Care to take care of my cats several times, and I highly recommend her. She's reliable, professional, and my cats are clearly content and comfortable in her care (I can tell by how relaxed they are when I get home . ) - Easy booking, schedule management, and payment thru her website. - Quick to review/respond to service requests (much appreciated when I had an urgent family situation and had to arrange pet sitting to go out of town on very short notice.) - Great communication; always updates me & sends pics after every visit, so I know she's been and how pets are doing. - Very responsive to texts and messages. - Does a great job with my finicky senior cat who has a highly specific feeding routine; Nicole follows directions to the letter. What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is the opportunity to build meaningful connections with both pets and their owners. There's something incredibly rewarding about seeing the joy in a pet's eyes when they recognize you, or the peace of mind in an owner's voice when they know their furry family member is in good hands. Being able to provide care that brings comfort and happiness to others—both pets and people—is truly fulfilling. Plus, every day is different, with new challenges and heartwarming moments that keep the work exciting and full of purpose.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start Jolly Paws Pet Care by my deep love for animals and a desire to create a service where pets would receive the same level of care and attention that I give to my own. I noticed that many pet owners needed trustworthy, reliable care for their pets, especially when life gets busy or when they travel. I wanted to provide a solution that offered peace of mind, knowing their pets would be treated with love, respect, and personalized care. The idea of building a business that combined my passion for animals with the ability to help others was the driving force behind starting Jolly Paws.
