We recently hired InkdChef for a corporate catering event on December 19, 2025, in Lumberton, North Carolina, and I cannot say enough great things about the experience.
Although the team was delayed due to a major accident on the highway something completely beyond their control the way they handled the situation was nothing short of impressive. Once the chef and his team arrived, they moved with urgency, professionalism, and confidence. Setup was quick and seamless, the bar was immediately up and running with drinks flowing, and the food followed right behind it.
The food itself was exceptionally well executed served hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The chef even built a beautiful grazing table on-site that elevated the entire event and truly wowed our guests. Despite the earlier delay, you would never have known it by how smoothly everything ran. They came in and executed as if they were never late at all.
The event exceeded our expectations in every way. Their professionalism, adaptability, and commitment to excellence truly set them apart. Because of this experience, we will absolutely be bringing them back and we’ve already booked two additional events with them.

The food and service for our Thanksgiving event were so outstanding that we immediately brought him back to cater our Christmas celebration as well. Despite the challenges of a government shutdown, Chef was incredibly professional, flexible, and truly worked with our budget without ever sacrificing quality or service. That alone spoke volumes about his integrity and commitment.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with InkdChef on December 6, 2025 for my daughter’s Sweet 16, and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience.
Chef provided heavy appetizers that were not only delicious but beautifully executed. The visual presentation was incredible, and what truly stood out was how thoughtfully everything was put together. The decorations and the way he perfectly matched the colors to our theme were absolutely stunning every detail felt intentional and elevated the entire event.
One of the biggest highlights of the night was the custom pizzas Chef made just for the party. They were a huge hit with everyone, especially the teens! Fresh, fun, and full of flavor people couldn’t stop talking about them.

jWe had InkdChef cater our fraternity formal on November 7, 2025 at Horse Creek Winery in Georgia, and the experience was absolutely outstanding.
The menu was a full Italian spread with multiple pastas, and every single dish was incredible. The flavors were rich, authentic, and cooked perfectly. Guests kept going back for seconds, and the food was easily one of the highlights of the night. It felt elevated, hearty, and exactly what we wanted for a formal event.
Beyond the food, the entire team was professional, organized, and on point from start to finish. They showed up prepared, executed seamlessly, and made the night stress-free for us. They truly understood how to balance a fraternity formal atmosphere with a classy winery setting.

Ink’d Chef (Adam) catered my daughter’s wedding on Oct 3, 2025. I have tried to refrain from posting my review, in the hopes that he would be professional and communicate with me regarding the poor service.
But after many attempts at correspondence, he will not reply.
The bride, groom and I were so excited after Adam came to our home and did an awesome tasting. The food was spectacular. We chose the exact menu for the wedding that he prepared for us. Communication with him throughout the planning process was great. I paid him in full according to the contract. Then the wedding day comes. To begin…He did not arrive with the agreed upon linens for the buffet tables. Fortunately the venue allowed us to use some they had in storage…albeit a different color than the caterer had promised. Appetizers were to be served at 2:15. He had received a copy of the itinerary days before the wedding. They were not ready on time. When I asked why, his reply: “my bad, I thought the itinerary said 3:15.” And when they were finally served…the presentation was awful. They were thrown into cups and tossed on the table. There were no utensils, or napkins. Guests were forced to eat with their hands at a formal wedding at an upscale, formal and beautiful venue. The servers were rude and unprofessional. One kept flirting with guests and when asked about utensils…guests were told, “we don’t have any.” The servers were all dressed like they were headed to a ball game. T-shirts, hoodies, jeans, sweatpants. Nothing uniform looking.
Then comes dinner service. The food tasted NOTHING like what we had tasted. Some had a lack of flavor, some were overcooked. About halfway through service…THE FOOD RAN OUT! Meat ran out halfway through and 2/3 through there was almost NOTHING left. When confronted…Adam and his team claimed guests were getting in line multiple times. Dinner service was only 25 min in. It was taking on average 10-15 min to get through the lines, and tables were being sent up two at a time…so it was logistically impossible for anyone to go through the line multiple times. They were lying to cover their lack of food and preparation. The final guest count was 50 less than the amount I was contracted for. So food should never have run out. The last few tables that did get to eat something had no utensils. They were told they had ran out. How do you expect guests to eat Mac/cheese and rice with their hands?! Adam then said he would order chicken from a nearby restaurant to feed the guests. It never came. His crew packed up and left. And I can’t forget the lack of beverages. Tea, Water and lemonade were the contracted beverages. First, they ran out of cups. We had to go find cups to use. Then they ran out of beverages. This is ALL halfway through dinner service! One of the groomsmen had to get cases of water delivered to the venue just so guests could have something to drink!
This is only a snippet of the poor service. In the days/weeks since the wedding…I have had multiple guests and other vendors tell me what they experienced. I’m horrified and embarrassed. I truly thought Ink’s Chef would be my go to caterer for future events. But I warn anyone that is thinking of using him to please reconsider. He and his staff is not equipped for large events and are very unprofessional when interacting with guests.

Everyone on both sides raved about the food! We’re so glad InkdChef was able to provide the meal for us. The mac, lumpias, and shrimp stir-fried rice were all absolute hits.
He cooked onsite for us, and the presentation and cleanup were flawless. The entire process was seamless from start to finish.
