Why should our clients choose you?
We provide all services in-house; from design (Architectural, Structural, MEP) to municipal plan approvals, required inspections during construction and obtaining certificates of completion or occupancy.
There would be no need to hire and coordinate additional consultants.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
We can, however, clients who plan to build for the first time need to realize that during construction managing local building department requirements and performing required inspections will be an essential part of successful and timely completion of the project.
Architectural design
Designing a plan from initial idea to constructible reality that will meet all local building regulations
Structural design
For smaller projects we will include Structural design, without needing you to hire a separate Structural Engineer
MEP design
Mechanical, Electric and Plumbing design is usually included in our services
Expediting
Filing our plans with the building department for approval, and obtaining a Letter of Completion or Certificate of Occupancy at the conclusion of construction
Feasibility Studies
Analyzing the building site or existing building condition to determine if the clients plans are possible within the Zoning and Building codes, or to maximizing the allowable buildable floor area for the particular project.
DOB Special Inspections
The NYC Department of Buildings requires certain construction activities to be inspected to obtain construction sign-offs.
HD Architecture PLLC is a registered Special Inspection Agency.
We only provide this service for our own projects.
