We had the absolute pleasure of having DJ Michael Hale as our wedding DJ, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the start, it was clear he was a true professional who genuinely cared about making our day special.

Our guests were raving about how much fun they had and how great the DJ was. Michael was prompt, professional, and attentive throughout the planning process. We have used Michael Hale with Expressions of Music for our last 4 school dances. He keeps the energy up, plays appropriate music (it is a school event), and the kids love it!

Michael was amazing! The ceremony and music flow was perfect, and the after party kept that same momentum! He really brought life to the party, and it was such a great event! Couldn’t recommend enough!

I would give more than 5 stars if it was an option!!! I truly can not even put into words how great Michael was. He genuinely cares about his clients. Before the wedding, he talked to me on the phone several times for over an hour each going through details, giving ideas and advice. He helped make it a fun and seamless process. During the wedding, not only was his DJing skills incredible and brought the dance floor to life, but he stepped up when needed. His wedding expertise saved our day after our day of coordinator had a medical emergency and the venue completely failed us in every way. Me and my husband got married on Nov 25. Prior to getting married, we had many phone calls with Michael that were very beneficial to helping us plan our day. Michael is the BEST in town! He is a man that wears many hats on the wedding day. On our wedding day, he was so caring and was one of the top reasons that our wedding day flowed so well. He has many planning sheets which were extremely beneficial in creating a playlist for the whole wedding day. He really does play the songs that you ask for! Also, since he was aware of our wedding day timeline, he helped coordinate with the other vendors to make each part of the day flow effortlessly. He offered my husband and I water before we entered the reception, and checked on us to make sure our wedding was exactly how we wanted (including first dances, cake cutting and dinner). When the dancing began, it was a PARTY! He pulled out some fun hats and threw them around for the guests, played unique wedding day songs (and some classics), and welcomed and played all requested songs. Michael IS AWESOME. Seriously. I could never suggest another dj enough!

And... At the end of the night when my mom was packing up the leftover food, she realized that she forgot to bring seran wrap. Michael drove down to the Dollar General and bought some to bring back and help! What! He's awesome and so kind. More...

Mike saved our wedding day. I mean that completely! Our first DJ service cancelled and I started emailing every DJ I could, and within 15 minutes Mike called me at 9:15pm and talked to me for 45 minutes about the services he offers. Next, our wedding coordinator cancelled two weeks or so before the wedding. Mike stepped up and helped fill that role and did an absolutely amazing job. He has everything you could imagine, keeps the guests involved and entertained, and even let my brother keep a hat that he grew attached to! Mike is the definition of professional. His experience in the wedding industry was evident from the first minute of our initial consultation. He knows the questions to ask and what’s most important on making sure everything runs smoothly on the big day. To say Mike is simply a DJ would be an injustice to the amount of effort he puts into his craft and his willingness to go above and beyond the scope of his responsibilities to ensure everything goes off without a hitch.

Mike and his team brought a photo booth to the wedding, which I admit I was hesitant about at first. However, it turned out to be one of the biggest hits at the wedding. He and his team ran it so smoothly and the number of props were endless. Everyone from the bridal party to the grandparents were getting in on the action! My wife and I will cherish those photos for many years to come.

Bottom line, the amount of planning that goes into a wedding can be overwhelming. Mike differentiates himself by going above and beyond simply being a “DJ” and works to understand the needs of the bride and groom, and how he can best be of service.
