What do you love most about your job?
I find great joy in helping solve my customer's computer and technology questions. It's great to do what you love and get paid for it!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was laid off from my automation and control engineering and programming job! Seeing as how I had been fixing PCs for 35 years at that point, starting my own sole-proprietor business was the logical next step.
Why should our clients choose you?
My first visit is always a fixed charge (for up to 1.5 hours) because neither of us know what's next. I do not charge for a visit if I don't fix the problem. In that case, I will refer the customer to someone that can resolve the issue. I spend the first part of the visit listening closely to the customer describe the problem, and no matter how weird it may seem to me, I have learned that customers always describe something they have seen or experienced. Then we work to fix the problem.

I can provide on-site services to any areas within 50 miles of Tucson without charging a travel fee. For areas farther away I will work with customers on a reasonable charge. I provide many services remotely that do not require an on-site presence. (Please see Services on my profile.)
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I always abide by my customers requests regarding health issues. I will wear a mask if requested without a fuss. I don't take on-site jobs if I have tested positive for COVID-19 (or have cold or flu symptoms, or anything else that can be transmitted).
Computer Repair & Refurbish (On-site)
Troubleshoot issues with computer (tower and laptop) to establish problem; determine proper repair or hold last rites; order parts and do repairs; no markups on parts.
Custom Computer Build
Confer with customer on the computer tower need (basic use, gaming, high power workstation, ...) and provide quotation. On approval, order parts, build and test system, and deliver or ship system. Provide support in-person (local) or remotely.
Remote Computer Support
Remote support for a wide range of computer related topics, including:
* Office suites (MS Office and LibreOffice)
* Browser operation (Edge, Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Opera)
* Printer installation and troubleshooting
* Email support
* Windows 10/11 update problems
In-home Wifi and Network Support
Provide service/support for all things wifi inside the home: Modem & wifi router setup and configuration; mesh-wifi or repeater setup; wifi connection troubleshooting; general internet connection troubleshooting; specify, purchase and install modems (Comcast, Cox) and wifi routers.
