I previously hired Lawrence for a music video project and was satisfied with the quality of his work, which led me to contract him again to capture footage for my birthday weekend.
I covered his travel and lodging expenses and paid $400 of the $850 fee he quoted for the project. Our agreement was that he would provide rough drafts for my review, after which I would make my selections and submit the remaining $450 balance.
My birthday took place in September, and as we approach the end of November, I still have not received any raw images or footage for review. Despite multiple attempts to follow up, I have not received any response or clarification regarding the delay. This lack of communication and failure to deliver the agreed-upon materials is highly unprofessional, and I am now in the process of pursuing legal action to resolve the matter.
