so i cannot recommend these guys enough! overall great people and trainers and they love and care for your pup as you do and I dropped my kenny off for a 6 week program due to reactivity and not listening basically doing whatever he wants with an unknown history being a 2 year old rescue and I came to pick him up and he is such a well behaved pup now listens perfectly withput hesitation and much calmer! he even seems like he loves the training sessions. Dawson was very thorough in his training and going over everything as well and a great trainer I cant recommend these guys enough! I highly recommend Centurion Canine for any aggressive biting, chewing, snapping, and growling dog behaviors! I absolutely love the crew at Centurion Canine!! I took my Old English Sheepdog Guiness there for help tweaking his anxiety issues. What a difference when we brought him home, he now plays with his brother Finnegan, loves company, and can actually go for walks now. My best boy Leroy has been home from training for about a month now. It was a life changing experience. We can go places, take walks, and just generally enjoy life more. Leroy's trainer was Victoria and she is amazing. However, the whole team at Centurion is wonderful. We will continue with training with Victoria and Leroy will be boarding there. Id love to be the first to say THIS WAS THE BEST DECISION WE EVER DID! I loved the team the communication the trainers the environment the training the price everything! My husband and I dropped off a puppy and got back a friend companion protection and a bigger dog! Dawson was our trainer and he was so clear with the communication every week and was always there if I had any questions. Victoria and David were so patient as I was driving 5 hours from NYC. Yes from the city because they were worth it! They were the best people to talk to as I didnt know what i was doing or needed for a german Shephard of 4 months. Everything was very transparent honest and reassured me that my dog was safe and happy! We now basically share custody of my dog because I only recommend them! My partner and I took our cane Corso for a 6 week board and train and honestly the best decision we have ever made for our dog. Victoria, David and Mariha were very professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of training. It was extremely hard to send our dog away for that long of a period but we got weekly phone call updates, which made it very helpful and eased our mind. The program that we did for Soju was exactly what we needed I feel like he’s came back a brand new dog. There has been a drastic difference with his obedience and confidence. Before all of this, we seriously thought it was a loss cause, but we are extremely grateful for how the outcome has been. He no longer pulls on his walks, when you tell him a command he does it right off the bat. And he doesn’t get out of that command until you give him his free card. I definitely recommend Centurion Canine. Our dog, Riley, had fear based aggression and after staying with Centurion for her 6 week board and train, she's a different dog. She's much more comfortable in her own fur and isn't so scared of everything. Victoria was excellent with her which was impressive because Riley doesn't like many people due to her fear. Riley learned a lot and is much easier to deal with since her training. We are looking forward to boarding Riley with Centurion again when we go on vacation this year so she can get more training. I can’t recommend Centurion Canine enough! We took our 18 month Cane Corso, Soju in for a 6 week behavioral board and train and the results have been incredible. He’s so much more confident, responsive, and happy. Before his board and train Soju was anxious around dogs, not able to focus on commands and the thought of walking him off leash wasn’t even considered, but since then it’s all changed. When he completed his program we were left with a big ole’ packet, and a nearly 2 and a half hour training session with our AMAZING trainer Mariah, to ensure we have the knowledge to continue Sojus growth at home. After leaving Soju immediately began to test us but the training session we had just moments beforehand helped us confidently navigate his behavior back to what his new standard now is. Victoria, David, Mariah, Dawson and everyone at Centurion Canine were phenomenal, and I simply couldn’t recommend them enough. My best dude Leroy spent 6 weeks with the team at Centurion Canine and Victoria as his trainer. It was really hard to say goodbye and leave him there. I wanted to just go back and pick him up for probably the first two weeks he was there and just say the heck with it. I’m so glad I didn’t though. He learned so much. He is much more confident. His obedience is so much better. We are still working together and learning how to do this together at home, especially with the chaos of the 3 other untrained dogs in the house. He’s generally just so much calmer. The team takes great care of all the dogs in their care and it’s obvious that they love what they do and they are really good at it. We will continue to do some private lessons with Victoria and he is already scheduled for a few days of boarding in July. I wish I could rate more than 5 stars for Centurion Canine and the amazing team there. I just got home my mini labradoodle Dixie, and the progress she made was stunning. I was very nervous to send her and so upset when dropping her off, however the wonderful team there made this transition amazing. Watching her progress on social media was beautiful and the weekly phone calls helped to calm my nerves. Dawson, her trainer, is incredible. He is very knowledgeable and has an absolute passion for his career. Her take home day, was amazing, from 12-3pm, Dawson went over everything they worked on for 6 weeks together and helped to implement the commands and behavior for my family to take her home. I just brought my almost 3 year old GSP Scarlett home Friday and she is doing great. We sent her mainly for the aggression that she had with the other pups in the house. She is a whole different dog. She listens and she is easier to walk. She is more obedient. she has tried to go after the other dogs but I am able to correct her before she gets out of control. Victoria and David know their stuff! My husband and I attended many group obedience classes over the years. And those were fine to practice the basics of obedience because we never had a Rottweiler with any behavioral issues. That is, until Nora came into our lives. She had quite the attitude! 2 year old Nora stayed for a 4 week board and train. She needed to learn that she wasn’t the boss of the household. She came back to us as healthy and happy as ever and very respectful. At that same time, I took 8 month old, Daimler to private lessons once a week. The different phases of training were incredibly interesting and very effective. Both Rottweilers now follow their commands instantaneously and enthusiastically. My dog Django did the 6 week board and train program at Centurion Canine and I could not be more happy with the whole experience. Victoria and David, and their other trainers are truly leaders in their profession and passionate about what they are doing. Django has been home about 2 weeks now and you can tell he is much more confident in himself, which translates to calmer walks, peaceful store trips, and people being able to enter my home without me having to hold him back or put him in my room. He did test me a little when I initially brought him home, but when he realized the rules apply at home as well, things have gone smoothly! His recall is amazing and our communication is 100x better than what it was!! During training, Victoria calls once a week to give detailed updates and answer any questions that come up, which was really nice because I was missing him!! The training you receive from Centurion Canine is not only worth every penny but also a life long investment for the relationship between you and your pup. 100/10 recommend. **I'm posting from my mom's account because I don't have FB but I wanted to leave a review because of how satisfied I am* My dog Django did the 6 week board and train program with Centurion Canine and it could not have went better. He has been home for about a week now and he is much calmer and confident with himself. He doesn't charge out the door when we are coming and going anymore and doesn't bark at people when they approach us out in public or on walks. I know this is long so if you don’t want details your review is JUST DO IT! Centurion Canine is the best of the best in the dog training world. Our pitbull/mastiff/cane corso puppy was just under 16 weeks old when we enrolled Belle into the puppy board and train program (2weeks). We were literally living a nightmare at home with our puppy and 2 children. Belle was so out of control and aggressive and we were all miserable. She bit my husband in the face causing him to bleed. Veterinarians and neurologists said she would most likely have to be put down and was showing all signs of neurological brain defect (congenital, genetic or infectious 2 of those automatically euthanize and the 3rd treat antibiotics and see if there was too much brain damage all written documentation from the drs). That’s when we contacted centurion canine for their professional opinion. The vets said we were only prolonging things and wasting money by having her trained. She was also attacked by another dog at 13 weeks old so we had concerns how she would be around other dogs. WE HAVE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PUPPY NOW! She obeys ALL COMMANDS, she is calm, confident, loving puppy now! They took AMAZING care of her (they went above and beyond what they had too.) On day 1 she was nervous and not ok in the back with ALL of the dogs. They instantly recognized this and accommodated her where she would be comfortable. They socialized her with the other dogs. She made best of friends with the 2 biggest cane corso’s there. We have already signed her up for the adult off leash board and train program. Next month she will go for 4 weeks. Although we will miss her we are setting not only her up for success but our family. Thank you for helping us truly enjoy our new family member! You literally are a LIFESAVER! Our Tater benefited greatly from the Behavior Modification Board and Train program. Tater was a rescue dog, and his background was unclear. I highly recommend Centurion Canine. This whole process has been life changing for my dog and me. Sugar is a older rescue dog who suffered from debilitating separation anxiety. I could only leave her once a day for 6-8hrs at a time and she had to be medicated 1 hour before leaving. This caused a lot of stress on her and me. She was also showing reactivity towards other dogs. I was hesitant about Sug being there for 4-6 weeks but I am so glad that we enrolled. I was updated weekly by phone call and loved seeing all the videos/pictures on social media. Sugar came back to me as a confident girl. I was very impressed with my take home lesson upon sugars completion. I felt that Mariah took her time and made sure I was comfortable with how to handle Sugar. She answered all my questions and concerns before leaving. Tomorrow will be 1 week since Sugar completed the program and our lives are completely different. I NO longer have to medicate her when leaving. I simply tell her "kennel" and she goes in with no issues or panic! This is such a relief for me. Sugar is also able to be in another room and interact with other dogs. Before training I would avoid any interactions with other dogs but now I feel equipped to let Sugar say hello to other dogs and even play if she feels like it. Impressed doesn’t begin to explain how we feel about our dog’s behavioral changes! The staff here laid an unshakable foundation for our dog’s new-found confidence, equipped our family with the skills needed to reinforce the desired behaviors. They provided robust updates along the way to quell our worries and to provide a truthful account of her progress. I have a two year old German shepherd and we are from a small area where there aren’t a lot of training facilities. I did some research and Centurion Canine was the only one to want to help train a two year old shepherd! He spent 6 weeks in a boarding and training program to do behavioral, obedience, and off leash training. A whole month of pure dedication and commitment! I have him back and he is awesome! I am so proud of him and all the hard work these guys have done for us! They changed our lives and made living stress free!
