Carrie was an absolutely amazing photographer for our wedding at the Omni Hotel San Diego. We had a great experience with her from start to finish. Her packages are wonderful and she is very reasonably priced especially considering all that she offers and her quality of work. We received beautiful engagement and wedding pictures from her in a super timely fashion especially compared to other photographers who can take months and months to deliver. Words hardly do justice when trying to explain someone's creative gift. That being said I will try my best. My wife Dawne and I hired Carrie to cover our wedding for us. Long story short she did an absolutely amazing job. She had one assistant photographer, Catherine, who was there to help provide additional coverage for the groomsmen along with multiple angles of the same shots. To start both Carrie and Catherine are extremely pleasant and professional. They make it very easy and stress free to smoothly flow through the gauntlet of events during your wedding. Second not only were the shots they captured beautiful, but they provide a complete timeline and story of our wedding day from start to end. Lastly, you don't even realize they are there. There were so many times my wife and I were just amazed by the shots they captured because they were so up close and personal yet we honestly had no idea they were even being taken. We both would highly recommend Carrie on all levels for any type of event you would like professional pictures taken. So thankful we found Carrie!! We planned our intimate elopement ceremony from halfway across the country. I did tons of research and sent many emails before finally finding and hiring Carrie and Im so glad we did. She was flexible with us and helped us find the perfect location. Carrie was an absolutely amazing choice for us for our wedding. My Step Mom is also a wedding photographer and had worked with Carrie once several years ago and was so impressed by her work and skills that she recommended her to me years later! After meeting with a few other photographers we chose Carrie because of her years of experience, beautiful portfolio of photos, the recommendation from my Step Mom and her incredible value. Her prices were affordable and reasonable and she has a lot of ways to customize the services to meet your needs. We hired her for 9 hours (2nd shooter always included) and gave ourselves plenty of time to take quality shots before our wedding (we did a first look) and we ended up with hundreds of gorgeous, amazing photos. We can't even decide which ones we love most because there are so many. I also made a Pinterest board of photography inspiration for Carrie to look at prior to the wedding and she studied it and got all the shots I wanted for our big day. I would highly recommend Carrie! Carrie was amazing!!! I was really, really picky when it came to our wedding photographer and wanted to make sure we had the best photographer we could afford. After researching on tons of blogs and meeting several photographers, we chose Carrie as her work was beautiful and she was super sweet too. Every time I would meet with other vendors they would ask who our photographer was and they would be very impressed with our answer. She has a great reputation in the industry and everyone told us she would do an amazing job, which she DID! We loved our engagement photos and knew our wedding photos would be great, but they were so much better than we could have imagined. Carrie captured everything stunningly and got all the shots I asked for. Her husband Todd as her second photograher and is also an amazing photographer and he did a fantastic job as well. We are so sooo happy with our beautiful pictures and our friends and family are blown away. You get so much for what you pay for as well....we just picked up a box of 700 prints today on top of everything else.

Carrie was also super helpful after the fact (when I have had friends deal with other photographers that will ignore them for ages after their wedding) and very responsive. She was so great and would respond within the hour most all of the time.

If you want 700 pictures you will want to frame, make sure you book Carrie. She is just awesome. More...

Carrie is a wonderful person, so calm and so good at what she does. Her demeanor was one of the most important things for us in a photographer as we wanted to ensure our day was documented in a style we loved and captured the essence of the day, without being bossed around or run off schedule with too many posed pictures. Carrie did have some posed shots but she also has a photojournalistic style that really lends itself to being unique and different. She brought along a great assistant and was so easy to work with. She has a service that puts all the pictures online for viewing and guests can order directly from the website. We were able to customize our package to get everything we wanted. I just love Carrie McCluskey's work! I had decided that I wanted to hire a superb photographer as these images would be with us for a lifetime and met with probably 7-8 photographers and just didn't connect or think that we were a good match. I forget how I heard about Carrie but the moment my husband and I met her we knew we wanted to book her on the spot...and we did!

I gave her some inspiration shots prior to the wedding and she got all of them. She was on time the day of our wedding and we took beautiful pictures at the getting ready hotel, then to the beach, then to the church and finally the reception. Our images were stunning and I will cherish them forever. The album is amazing and perfect and I love looking through all of the 4 x 6's to re-live the fun day!

Carrie has just returned beautiful family portrait pictures and my husband and I couldn't be happier! Carrie has always been open to our ideas and delivers just what we expected and more. She puts us at ease and was great with our young sons. I am constantly referring friends and family to her as I think her talent and service are above and beyond.

We first used Carrie for our Vegas wedding way back in 2002. She was more than accommodating when it came to travel and rehearsal dinner/reception photos (the Paris Hotel does not allow other photographers during the ceremony). What I love most about our pictures is her attention to detail and capturing the moment.
