We believe that being a great photographer is more than the equipment you use or pressing a button. We truly strive to get to know our couples and models in order to see what works for them. We have to get to know you in order to make your vision a reality. For that reason, we conduct a complementary consultation for ALL of our shoots...

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
When we start a new project with a client, we ask a lot of questions. In general, we ask all of our clients to create a mood board, shot lists, dress policy, timeline, song list, flight plans, consultation dates, etc.
The mood board is just a collage of images and samples to help us understand what type of photography you are looking for.
Describe your creative process.
We work with our clients to plan everything out, so we can deliver what they actually want. We do a lot of preproduction planning to ensure every client gets what they need. Then we set everything up and shoot everything. We then upload, backup and edit everything. We strive to get our products back to our clients as quickly as possible.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
When we start a new project with a client, we ask a lot of questions. In general, we ask all of our clients to create a mood board, shot lists, dress policy, timeline, song list, flight plans, consultation dates, etc.

What do you love most about your job?
We love everything about our jobs! We get to work with amazing couples and clients on incredible projects! We love working to create something that will be a part of their home for the rest of their lives. As photographers and videographers, we are typically the closest to the action on their special date and we are very honored to be in that position.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Our owner, Ryan, has been a techie all his life and passionate about photography since high school. He took a digital design class at just 14 years old. Throughout his college career he completed many photography, videography, digital and graphic design classes. He ran a successful computer repair company throughout college called, Alpine Tech. After college, all of his friends started to get married and he decided to launch Ryan Mayiras Photography & Videogrpahy. He wanted to help all his loved ones capture the moments that matter the most. Our company quickly exploded and we rebranded in 2021 to Candid Studios Photography & Videography.

We work extremely hard to give you exactly what you imagine. We have an extensive network of additional photographers, videographers, and licensed drone operators. This insures that we will always have a trained expert at your event, regardless if someone gets sick.
We extensively plan your shoots out to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible. We use cutting-edge equipment and software to shoot and edit all of our photos and videos to perfection. We also utilize advanced artificial intelligence imaging software to enhance all our images.
All of the images and videos we create are professionally color-graded. We use premium, top-of-the-line equipment, like the Sony a7r iii. All of our videos are delivered in Ultra High Definition 4k resolution, to deliver crystal clear imaging. We use various premium lenses and multiple lighting arrangements in order to deliver dream images and dramatic lighting effects. Our equipment is unrivaled, by using top of line gear, cameras and equipment.

Yes! All of our consultations can be done via Google Meet. We send you a calendar date and information directly to your email for you to access our remote sessions. We find this to be the most convenient resolution during the COVID-19 epidemic. We want to keep all of clients safe and healthy.
During shoots we require all of our personal to carry hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, gloves and masks.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Our number one concern is to keep our customers and staff members safe. We adhere to CDC guidelines for COVID safety. We now conduct many of our meetings virtually. All of our team is fully vaccinated. Please do not hesitate to ask if there is anything we can do to make you more comfortable.
