Long story short: The Board & Train program at The Balanced Life has been absolutely life-changing! My dog Ace spent three weeks with Chrys at The Balanced Life, and the transformation has been incredible. Since coming home, he hasn’t been jumping on counters or people, and the biting has stopped. He now comes when called, follows my lead, walks politely on a leash without pulling, and has picked up so many other skills. Even with my older dog still holding a bit of a grudge, Ace has clearly learned boundaries and respects his space. Because he trained in a real home environment—with visitors, mail deliveries, and other dogs—his progress translates directly into our everyday life. What I love most is that the support didn’t end when training did. Chrys continues to be there whenever I need advice or encouragement, which makes such a difference. We love Chrys! She did an amazing job getting Teddy where we needed him to be as psychiatric service dog. Chrys taught Teddy deep pressure therapy with the cue word “hug” which is so sweet and my therapy kids love it. She also taught Teddy a command for disengaging with whatever behavior he was having to the point where he can leave a bal alone while playing fetch. His progress has can truly incredible to see. Doggie daycare
We are happy to announce that we are now going to be offering limited daycare. Daycare space and days are limited. This is in-home daycare which can be a wonderful alternative for dogs that are too overwhelmed in a larger daycare facility.
During the daycare day, your dog will receive one-on-one play with a human friend, a 15-minute walk, and socialization with other dogs.
