Luis inspected the wiring and transformer situation for doorbell and was very honest about the requirements for the repair as well as the pros/cons. He also gave some steps I could take to make sure it’s a best case (I.e. DIY project) or worst case (opening up the walls). The transparency was very much appreciated, which is why I gave the 5 stars for customer service. I can’t speak to the quality or pricing since we didn’t move forward with the repair, but I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt due to honestly and apparent knowledge. More...

Mr Martinez was very professional he even went out his way to work around my schedule, he brought everything needed to complete the job and cleaned up after it was done, it was like he wasn t there, I would definitely have him do some work for me in the future and tell my friends. It s hard to find honest work and prices. I know how much it would cost for the job and he was right at the price point, I didn t tell him I use to be an electrician and everything worked out. One Step Electric & Lighting is a privately owned licensed small company owned by Luis Martinez. The lighting went out in one of my homes, so I got three bids. I decided to go with One Step Electric due to their excellent response and no charge estimate. Luis was prompt, friendly, and professional. He was able to complete some small electrical jobs quickly, diagnosing the issue and getting to work fast.
