What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Technically speaking you need to know how to work with the light around you. However, the real secret to taking photos the client will love is knowing the client and making them feel comfortable with you. When the client is comfortable and having fun it shows and creates genuine emotion. And emotion is what everyone loves in photos.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I would ask the following questions
1. Tell me about your vision for your day?
2. Have you thought about what kind of feel you want from your photos?
3. Have you seen any photos that you may want to recreate?
What do you love most about your job?
I am absolutely crazy about photography! I love capturing the love, devotions, and emotion, and the genuine uniqueness that makes up each couple and the beauty and creativity of an individual.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I got my first job when I was 14 and I have been working ever since. I was working every weekend, on holidays, my family birthdays, and crazy hours just to almost make ends meet. The fact that I miss my siblings sports games and family vacations made me want to have more time. Time to sleep, time to relax, time to travel and most importantly time for family. Running my own business is a lot of work, a lot of hard work, but it is very rewarding to be able to have the freedom to spend more time with my family.
Why should our clients choose you?
If you just want the same run of the mill photos that every other photographer takes then I may not be the photographer for you. If you want truly emotional and unique photos that capture the love the two of you share then I am the perfect photographer for you. Even though we have fun and get a bit silly on your special day I am very serious about wedding photography. My goal is to capture real moments and real emotion as your special day unfolds.
