I was hosting a baby shower brunch for a dear friend. I found Andrew here on Bark. He was quick to respond and very attentive to my request.
I noted that the pictures for Abstract Table didn't include brunch like items, but he quickly listed a menu:
1. Quiches-cheddar & broccoli, spinach & artichoke and Lorraine
2. Mini hash browns-braised short ribs with creme fraiche and chives
3. Billionaire's bacon
4. Charcuterie and cheese board- meats: prosciutto, copa, soppressata, salami, peperoni Cheese: stilton blue cheese, meyer lemon-honey goat cheese, smoked gouda, gruyere, brie, smoked cheddar cheese with accoutrements
5. Individual yogurt parfaits- blueberry-yuzu compote, yogurt and granola
6. Chicken and waffles-maple syrup and hot sauce
I can honestly say, EVERYTHING, was delicious. Andrew and Duncan prepared the spread so effortlessly. Our guests were amazed and left with many leftovers. Thank you both for all your efforts. I will be calling upon you again!

Chefs Andrew and Duncan, Abstract Table Catering, did a wonderful job! Attention to every detail really took the stress off me.
I met with them in my home and explained that I wanted to provide hors d'oeuvres for afternoon surprise birthday party. I was able to enjoy my guests and relax knowing event was in the best hands!
Everyone is still raving about the food!! Delicious...different and perfect planning. Menu included:

Delicious food and friendly service! The vegetarian dishes were especially good. The roasted roasted corn chowder “cappuccino” and a smoked lions mane mushroom were outstanding. The restaurant is located thru a cafe, in the garden behind the shop. You’ll be surrounded by an eclectic assortment of plants from manzanita, lemon balm and mint to succulents, flowering maple and anthuriums. How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We love working with our clients and tailoring a menu specifically to their wants and needs using the most seasonal and sustainable ingredients available.
What do you love most about your job?
We love being culinary artists and stimulating all your senses!
What inspired you to start your own business?
We really wanted to work for ourselves so that we are always in charge of our destiny and able to make decisions based on what’s best for us, our clients and our families.

We have over 6 years as a successful business, we have access to the most incredible products and most importantly, we love what we do and that is always reflected in our work. We truly aim to please.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We are all vaccinated and double boosted. We still take Covid as serious as possible by continuing to mask and being conscious and aware.

We have catered everything from baby showers and weddings to Bar Mitzvah’s and everything between. We are fully staffed and able to work as much as possible!
Private chef
We have and will cook for folks in their homes, offices etc.
