Do you want a well-trained dog that actually WANTS to work with you? Congratulations on taking the first steps to get exactly this!
I don’t believe in using pain or harsh methods. Nor do I believe in purely positive training — because R+ trainers don’t believe in correcting a dog or setting boundaries.

Dog Training
So far it's awesome. Dawn totally knows dogs. Only 1 session so far but working with my dog on abandonment issues and aggression. We are off to a great start.

Shambala Dog training is great. Rosie knows so much more and Bud (little spaz) is getting the hang of things too!

Thanks, Molly! Bud is just too adorable, but I'm getting a huge kick out of how much Rosie is loving getting in on the training too! :)

Dog Training
First training session and Bud did great! Even our dog Rosie hopped in on training once she realized treats were involved. They did awesomely! The session was simple enough to not overwhelm and keep both engaged. The puzzle toys are great too! More...

Currently training with Dawn virtually. After our first hour of training learned more than our entire time with Petsmart. Wish I would have just known she did this to start with! Paddy is a rescue and an Am Bulldog mix with some behavior issues who overall is a great boy but we needed to break some bad habits in our 85 lb puppy. Dawn’s techniques work 100%. She knows her stuff and I would recommend without hesitation. More...

What do you love most about your job?
I adore working with dogs. The canine mind is a wonderful thing to behold and I never grow tired of watching them learn!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Many years ago, it became apparent to me that the only way to really make a decent living was to run my own business.
Why should our clients choose you?
My many years of experience are unsurpassed in this area. My expertise has been cultivated over more than two decades of working with all different breeds of dogs, taking behavioral anthropology classes as UALR, working with primates, studying and researching canine behavior, and putting it all into practice with hundreds, if not thousands, of dogs and their owners since 1998.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I can if necessary but prefer in person lessons because I feel that "most" people need that in-person experience.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I offer to wear a mask if anyone prefers that I do. I've been vaccinated and boosted, carry sanitizer with me in my car, etc.
Private Dog Training Lessons In Home
I come to your home and help you with the exact issues you need help with. No canned corporate classes, and none of this "you need six months of training" stuff that some people try to talk you into. I can help you get your dog up to speed in five lessons 99% of the time. I work with aggression issues, behavioral problems, resource guarding, basic obedience, puppy training, and service dog training. Don't see it mentioned? Feel free to reach out and ask!
Group sessions
These are drop in lessons, no appointment needed. Every Thursday in April, at 6pm or every Saturday in April at 11am. Call for details.
