In the initial stages of preparing for my photoshoot, Mr. Nettles- 95 images photography, like a lot of business owners, was quite professional and attentive. Several weeks prior to our scheduled February 11th photoshoot appointment, we corresponded regularly via email, text, and phone. Communication was not an issue. We signed an agreement covering the shoot. Although the agreement did not explicitly state how long it would take Mr. Nettles to get back to me after the shoot, I had expected that it would take no longer than a fortnight to receive the photos. When I had not heard from him after that time, I reached out to him via text 2 days shy of a month, March 9th, after the ‘shoot’. He responded promptly and profusely apologized for the delay and the late response, and stated that he ‘will have the pictures to [me] real soon, like this weekend’. That weekend came and went with no further communication from him. I texted him the following Monday evening, March 13th, expressing disappointment in his lack of professionalism and communication, and ask that he ‘provide a definitive date, that the pictures would be delivered’. Mr. Nettles was paid in full before the shoot and, over a month later, I have yet to see one picture from it. He received my text, called me immediately afterwards and said he’d had some health issues and that was why he had not been in contact with me. He then assured me I would have my pictures ‘within the next few days, not weeks’. It has been over a week since that phone conversation and I’m STILL waiting to hear from him, to see the pictures I have paid for. Whether or not he had personal issues should not be my concern, nor should it affect our business relationship. As an entrepreneur, if he can post on social media about attending local social events during this time, he should be able to provide me with timely updates on why it is taking an exceptionally long time to fulfill his contractual obligation. I have requested a full refund for the services I have yet to receive, as this coming Saturday, March 25, will be six weeks, since the photoshoot. My hope is that this experience will end amicably, without litigation. More...

Ronnie has a great, fun energy and adapted so well to all the circumstances and challenges posed by COVID-19 restrictions as we held our intimate, little ceremony. He even patiently waited for us (in the freezing cold!), as we rushed to change and make it to the Tidal Basin for a quick photo session before the area would be cordoned off. He was able to capture some beautiful shots despite the light fading fast and approaching rain clouds on the horizon. Pictures came out beautiful! More...
