We've taken our two Labs to a number of boarding facilities when we've gone on trips, and they've come back extremely thirsty, achy, or subdued. As a result we looked for another facility. Then we discovered Pleasant Paws in Snellville. Max and Charlie come back perky, happy, and in really good shape--nice and clean after their "come home" bath, too. When we take them back to Pleasant Paws, they light up and are ready to go play! We feel really good about the care they're receiving at Pleasant Paws. Five Stars! More...

Sarah and Richard are wonderful teachers! The program was so thorough, from the hands on practical application to the curriculum. I felt every aspect of basic obedience was covered as well as giving me all the tools I need to go out and start on my own. We just got a new puppy and the usual groomer was booked. I got on line and read the YELP reviews for Pleasant Paws. I don't have anything bad to say. The woman who answered the phone was very nice and she seemed to be very informed.  I called other places but did not like our phone conversations. The good thing is Pleasant Paws opens early so if you have to work they are there when you need them. They also provide boarding, this is also a plus. The price for the grooming was reasonable and my dog's coat was very soft when she returned home.I think I may use them for future grooming because they are pleasant to work with and when they do return calls. Took wonderful care of my Yorkie. He's going blind and they said he did great and that he was a sweety. I didn't see any photos of him when I was gone and the next day they were posted and I could see he was having a good time. He's home now and passed out in his bed. Thanks so much!! More...

Boone was boarded for 10 days and I'm pretty sure that we missed him more than he missed us. He had too much love from Richard and Sarah during his board and train, and lots of attention at play time from Ben and the rest of the crew. He couldn't wait to go back. Sarah and Richard did such a great job of training our Yorkie (Bentley) and Maltese (Mazzi) dogs. They treated Mazzi and Bentley like they were family. Their 2 week training program is awesome! Ollie has been visiting since he was old enough to stand his ground and has loved every second of it! Nine months and 60 pounds later he still cries like a baby with excitement the second we round the corner on 78. Honestly, the excitement starts when I ask him in the morning, "you wanna see your friends today?" The staff truly love these pups as their own and ensure that they're having FUN all day. Going on a year now and I am still impressed with the attention Sophie gets while in daycare with PP. Sophie is still excited to show up in the morning and pays me no attention when I drop her off, she is just excited to get In the back and play with her friends. Another sign that she is having a blast is from the time I pick her up till the time we get home she is exhausted and sleeps which tells me she is playing her heart out all day. I have been bringing my dog jax here for almost a year now and he still gets so excited every time I bring up “doggy daycare! ” This staff is truly so amazing and loves the fur babies so well. They also ALWAYS do an amazing job grooming him and I would never take him anywhere else after coming here! I highly recommend Pleasant Paws to everyone looking for excellent care for their dogs. Over the past year, I have used almost every service offered for my goldendoodle and Abbey absolutely LOVES everyone who works at Pleasant Paws. We’ve had great success in individualized training classes taught by Sarah. Abbey started to go to daycare with a great group of playful dogs when she was 4 months old. This socialization has helped Abbey to have great temperament and love other dogs. Thor has been going to daycare one or two days a week for the last couple of months. It has brought him out of his shell and some timid ways that I was worried about as he was getting older. My dog loves this place. She can tell where we're headed when we go and she gets all twitchy and excited. The staff is really good with my dog. I was very nervous about boarding our fur babies because we’ve always used a pet sitter for long trips. Pleasant Paw’s took GREAT care of them! ! They let me tour the facility and answered ALLLLL my questions. Nala Rose and Zoey were happy, freshly groomed, and worn out from their 11 days of fun “Inn the DogHouse” as seen in the picture. We've been being my dog Teddy here since they opened and we love it. He gets groomed and boarded here. The staff is always so nice and Teddy loves coming. Lindsey the groomer is awesome. I have used Pleasant Paw's for daycare and boarding my goldendoodle. When I brought her first visit, a complimentary afternoon of daycare to see how she liked it, she was timid and scared by the barking dogs. What a great family run business! I have dropped my dogs off for day care several times, when I pick them up they are well exercised and tired from socializing with other dogs all day.
