I don't think that I can rave enough about Lia. She is truly a gem and one of a kind. We hired her for our engagement and wedding photos and my goodness, she surpassed every expectation and made every moment beyond special and fun. It down-poured on our wedding day, and Lia was there right by my side telling me how great the photos would be and taking on a bridesmaid role as I slightly freaked out. She was completely right, our photos were AMAZING and we have received SO MANY compliments. She will forever be our photographer for every other special moment that comes our way. Lia took my engagement photos, and also photographed my large family over the years. She is a gem! She is so creative and her warm approach makes everyone feel at ease in front of the camera. I love the way she poses – nothing tense or expected. All our photos looked natural and beautiful. Lia photographed our rehearsal dinner party as well as our wedding. Our ceremony was outside in Foresthill, in the middle of a thunder storm. Lia was so supportive of our very difficult decision to keep the ceremony outside and assured me it would make for beautiful photos. Even in the worst conditions a bride could imagine (freezing, soaking wet, ruined hair and makeup and at risk of being struck by lighting) Lia made it a very enjoyable experience that we'll never forget. She's easy going, endlessly creative and extremely professional. Our photographs are absolutely beautiful and framed all over our home. Lia took both our engagement and wedding photos. After receiving several suggestions from friends for a photographer, I began looking through the photos of many different photographers. There were lots of gorgeous photos from them all, but the only photographer who I felt captured the personalities of each couple was Lia, which lead to my choosing her as our photographer. After viewing our engagement photos, my (then) fiance and I were so impressed and received so many compliments, and felt so confident in our choice to use her as our wedding photographer. Come wedding day, Lia was punctual, took all of my requests into consideration (she had a print out of my Pinterest board I had sent to her) and was very speedy capturing all of our amazing shots so we had plenty of time to enjoy our guests as well. She captured all moments of the wedding and reception so well, and I have received SO many compliments on how beautiful all of the photos are. We had Lia photograph our wedding and she was absolutely fantastic. I hate posing for photographs as a rule but Lia and her colleague made the entire process painless and fun.

The family portraits great of course, but they're obviously taken with direction from the photographer about where and how to stand, etc - the exception being the "behind the scenes" photos taken we didn't know about which look awesome. What really stood out for me was the "candid" shots taken during the ceremony and reception - Lia completely disappeared into the background captured some stunning photos of everyone that we're in love with.

I would absolutely recommend you check out her website - and then book her. You won't be disappointed.

Lia is AMAZING. She shot our engagement photos and our wedding photos and they are breathtaking! Lia was recommended by my sister as they went to school together and I am so happy the Lia was the one for us! Her attention to detail is perfect and she really know how to work that camera! She was so supportive when it came to making decisions, especially when i am extremely indecisive. She was also so helpful when it came to making a timeline for our day. She was able to lay out the time that she needed for photos and i was able to lay out everything else for our other vendors based on the timeline she made. I'd give Lia 12 starts if google let me. She' s worked with our family multiple times and each time was AMAZING! Having toddlers and little kids could make a family photo shoot stressful - but that isn't the case with Lia she makes the shoot fun for everyone! This is how good she is: the accompanying photo was taken after our two year old had not napped, and just gotten his regular booster shots at the doctor two hours before. WHAT?!
