My best friend convinced me to go with her to do boudoir pictures, and I am so grateful I took the plunge and did it! Daniel met us out by the car when we first arrived at his studio, and helped bring our stuff in. He is super outgoing and very easy to get along with. He gave us a tour of the studio and made sure we felt right at home. When it came time to shoot, Daniel was extremely professional and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. I honestly thought it was going to be awkward but Daniel was so patient, and understanding of my worries, that my worries went right out the window and I had so much fun. Daniel was perfect to work with. Made me feel very comfortable and confident during the shoot. If you have the choice to work with male vs female for boudoir shoots, choose male and choose Daniel all the way! A male photographer is able to give you the best perspective on how you look in your photos. He was able to help me narrow down which photos were the best to give to my husband on my wedding day. My wife and I first met Daniel when we were planning the re-branding of our business. When the casual conversation turned to our business, he asked me "Where's the romance?
" I must admit, he caught me off guard because I never thought about that, let alone been asked the question. What's relevant to this review is not my answer, but how this deeply thought provoking question launched us into an awesome conversation that ultimately helped us solidify our new brand. In addition, it gave us insight into the incredible emotional person that Daniel is, which is evident in his work.
That first meeting occurred 6 months ago, and we not only successfully launched our new brand and website, but called him back for another round just yesterday to photograph---no, bring to life!---some new products that we're adding to our line. We were once again blown away by his skill, professionalism, dedication and genuine love of his craft.
When you work with Danial J, you're getting a "rock star" who will pour his heart and soul into your project and (as I mentioned from that first meeting) bring out YOUR heart & soul. We now consider Daniel J a permanent part of our team as we evolve and grow our business!

I spent a good deal of time researching photographers in NC (I am in CA) for a shoot I wanted to do as a gift; Daniel J Studios really stood out from even the first look at his website. More importantly, Daniel himself is warm, comfortable with who he is (which in turn makes his subjects the same -- essential for capturing moments and relaying authentic images), creative, innovative, and frankly, one of the only photographers in this area that is willing to really think outside the box. His passion for what he does translates directly to the product, and we are very happy with our experience as well as the images produced. His work is a great mix of artistry and moments in time -- a cut above. Photography is the art of observation, and has little to do with what you see but more with how you see it -- Daniel J Studios can translate moments into images we can hold on to. Highly recommended. I am a senior in high school and knew that I had to get my senior pictures done soon but I had no idea who to go to. My mom told me about Daniel J Studios. I had no idea who he was or how good his work was but we decided to give it a shot. Best decision I could of made hands down. Dan knew exactly what outfits to put together, what kind of poses to use, and the perfect locations. Most importantly, he made me feel so confident and like an actual model! All of my pictures came back fabulous and so quickly. If you are looking for any portraits to be made and do not know who to go to, Daniel Hadley is the guy for you.
