I love my job the most when I look around at an event and everyone is smiling and enjoying themselves because of something I put my hard work into. I was going to elope in 11 days when my Dad called me and told me that he wanted to walk me down the aisle at my church. We had already invested most of our money in our honeymoon but we went to our Pastor and his wife to ask was it possible to pull this off to get married in 10 days. They said of course. Then 2 days later I ended up in the hospital with kidney stones and preterm labor at 4 months and 3 weeks pregnant. So I was in hospital for next 7 days. I got out the day before my wedding and was devastated because I had not had a chance to do anything for my wedding and I was only allow up for an hour a day to get married if I wanted to make my honeymoon. So I knew I would have no decor at my wedding but the Pastor’s wife called me me come meet here at church for 10 minutes. I did and when I walked in the church was decorated in my colors and was beautiful. She had sent all week blessing me. So when I was starting my business I was actually sitting in my church at a Fish Fry when the Lord told me “You were blessed with your wedding now go Joyfully Bless other brides.” So that’s how I received my name. I had already be doing weddings and photography since I was 18 without having my own company so after 14 years of that I decided it was finally time to turn it into a company with my best friend.
