He took my boyfriend & I to the location in his personal vehicle and made jokes during the shoot to help us laugh and feel comfortable. I found myself looking at photos three months after the event that we hired Desert Rose Photo for, and I can't believe I haven't left a 5-star review for Will and Michelle yet! They are true pros, and they run the best photo booth in town! From the beginning, they were easy to reach and quick to respond. They even helped us set up a custom background as part of the options for a green screen photo booth, which was a huge hit! I am so grateful that they made the trek to the San Fernando Valley to work our event. I also love that we were able to access all the photos as a digital album after the party. Michelle and Will, thank you for the outstanding service and for quality photos our crew will smile at for years to come. You are in excellent hands if you hire Desert Rose for your event!

I needed a publicity photo for a book that is to be released soon, called around for quotes, and Brian was among the most reasonable.  Plus, he seemed to have a handle on what I was looking for with regard to imaging, etc.  On showing up for my appointment, I walked straight in to his studio.  No lobby or reception area -- there you are.  After getting the lighting, etc. arranged, he took 40 shots, which on examination I eliminated half of them.  I don't claim to be particularly photogenic.  From there, it became increasingly difficult to choose.  His direction on how to pose, how much to smile, etc. worked wonders on these shots.  I finally was able to choose one, and I am very happy with it.  If you're looking for a good photographer for portraits, I don't see how you could go wrong with Brian Maurer.  He also does weddings, etc. and would assume he's just as good.  As an amateur photographer myself, I know that 90% of getting a good picture is having a good idea of what a good picture is supposed to look like.  And Brian has a good eye for great pictures.  Hey -- if he could make ME look good, he can make YOU look good.

I have had many photographers come do a photo shoot of my car, but Eddie was by far the most professional and Friendly. His shot really showed his passion as well. They pull out emotion from the photo with his amazing edits and composition. He listens to what you are going for in a photo and executes. Highly recommend!

We recently had Mikel take an updated family photograph for us. We have used Mikel for years and have always trusted his work for family and individual pictures. We found Mikel years ago when we used his services for our son's Eagle Scout picture. When we visited his studio, we were so impressed by the photographs he had taken of families in the area that we booked him right away. He has always found us a very special and unique outdoor place to take our pictures. The large, framed picture of our family has been a focal point in our house and a source of conversation with people wanting to know where we were and who took the picture!
