Kate and Rob have been running photo booths and other photo events for a long time and frequently the feedback we get from our clients and their guests is we were the best part of the whole event. We have experience doing a wide range of events including weddings, birthday, bar/bot mitzvah, corporate events, holiday and Christmas parties as well as seasonal sets. We also specialize in working with Autistic and special needs families!
We do traditional photography, but we specialize in capturing heirloom-quality family photos of those traditionally considered impossible to photograph, so our version of traditional photography is chasing children in their comfortable environment. For photo booths, it is more set photography where we a designated area that is properly light with fun things to play with, but also designed to capture unique high-quality images that can be printed, framed, and displayed.
Photo booths can be considered set photography (think Santa and Easter Bunny, which we offer). At an event traditional photographers walk around and only capture people doing things, with a photo booth, we stay in one place and encourage people to show their true personalities that may not be captured by a traditional photographer.
We bring a wide range of props including masks, headbands with a variety of themes, various glasses, hats, hand signs, and custom theme options.
I love working with children and doing fun events. This allows Kate and I to work together and spend time together.
I loved watching Spiderman when I was little and Peter Parker inspired me to explore photography. I never thought I would work in the photography field, but I worked for a school photography company and another photo booth company before Kate encouraged me to pursue photography full time.
I hate having a restrictive schedule, so for many years, I ran my own IT company until the industry shifted back in-house and covid killed all my remaining contracts when all the workers were sent home.
Kate's specialties are in behavioral analytics and my degrees are in the psychology area, including my Masters of Business Psychology. After covid destroyed what was left of my old company, we decided to rebuild a company together that was bigger and better than anything I had ever created in the past.
We specialize in working with autistic and special needs clients. We utilize Kate's applied behavioral analytics skills to bring out personalities and my photography skills to capture unique heirloom images.
The same is true in our booth, we provide the client with the original images and it is nothing uncommon for them to be printed, framed and displayed with comments of they are far better than the event photographer's images.
We do have a virtual booth option. If interested, please inquire, but typically all our events are in-person.
Covid did not require us to change any of our procedures beyond adding the inherent risk disclosures and cancelation clauses to our contracts.
We still clean everything before and after events, periodically throughout the event (high volume of visitors makes it difficult between users, but we try to frequently), and provide hand sanitizer.
We have always offered touchless start (utilize a QR code to start the booth and send images to your phone/email) and auto start with facial count where the booth starts when it sees faces and prints enough copies based on the number of faces detected.
We work with adults, we allow them to make their decisions on how far apart they want to be and if they want to touch anyone or thing.
During the photography sessions, we do offer forced prospective if subjects want to be spaced, which is what we did for the 2020 Santa photo sessions.
