Principal, Carlton Becker, brings over 3 decades in organization development and human resources management to the HR Consultancy firm. Over the years, he has led projects in the areas of organizational systems design, change management, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, team building, core competency models, performance management, succession planning, and strategic planning. He has facilitated executive networks and diversity councils; functioned as the principal researcher for the development of Diversity 360TM, used for evaluating diversity and inclusion skills; and led best practices research in global talent management.

Prior to founding BowmanBecker Consultancy, LLC, Mr. Becker was a senior consultant with ORC Worldwide and a senior-level executive with Hallmark Cards, Inc. He also held professional HR positions with Ingersoll-Rand Company and Sterling Drug. As an adjunct faculty member in the graduate business school at DeSales University, he shares his knowledge with a new generation of students. Mr. Becker received the Instructional Systems Organization’s national award for training program design, and his articles have appeared in publications for the Organization Development Network and in HR Horizons.
Mr. Becker’s education background includes a master’s degree in personnel and human resource management from The American University and a bachelor’s degree from Kutztown University.

Edwin Bowman, Principal, brings more than 30 years of experience in human resources management to the HR Consultancy firm. His in-depth expertise has gained him national recognition as a leader in the area of diversity, needs analysis, retention strategies, team building, and metrics as they apply to the enhancement of diversity in the workforce. He also brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning, performance management, and executive coaching. In addition, he has facilitated networks associated with diversity, affirmative action, and work-life balance; conducted culture audits; and helped implement programs to enhance the diverse acquisition of talent.

Mr. Bowman’s experience in directing Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Diversity initiatives in the private industry led to his selection as a consultant to the 1995 Federal Glass Ceiling Commission. The commission was charged with making recommendations to Congress and the White House on effective ways to enhance diversity throughout the public and private sector. In addition, Mr. Bowman leads the company's efforts in HR outsourcing.
