My name is Steve, and I'm a guitar teacher. I've been playing for over twenty years, solo and in various bands in various styles. I've now been teaching for three years, and I absolutely love it. My focus is to give my students both the skills they need to sound amazing when they pickup their guitars and the understanding to continue to grow as musicians. I like my lessons to be guided by my students' interests and strengths, but structured toward building the fundamental skillsets they need to really enjoy playing music.

Sean has been teaching my 6-year-old son classical guitar for about 3 years now. Progress was slow for the first year, but my son's pace of learning accelerated dramatically after that. Children really learn quickly with the right teaching. He now plays songs capably from Suzuki book 4 and RCA book 3 and is considered an intermediate-level player. He can also ready music well. At this rate, I expect him to be an advanced player before he is even out of elementary school. The fact that he has progressed so well is a testament to Sean's patience, experience, and approach. I also want to add that my son genuinely enjoys playing. I fully expect playing guitar to become a lifelong source of pleasure for him. That's a beautiful gift.

Remote lessons are currently what we offer, our teachers are trained to give virtual lessons over video conferencing platforms like zoom, FaceTime, and Skype. We fully embraced social distancing, and our teachers are qualified and skilled at making online lessons feel just like in-person lessons.
Although we will offer in person lessons when our teachers feel comfortable, right now all of our services are offered remotely.
We do not sacrifice ANY quality in our services offered online, in fact in many ways online lessons have provided our students and families more convenience and flexibility in their daily lives.
