For yet another year I’m amazed at the quality of the festival. I enjoy coming out and seeing the troupes and performers from other cities. The local troupes shine and planning, dedication, and commitment of the organizers astounds me.
I continue to enjoy the workshops. This was the first year I could attend a workshop with my daughter and it was incredible. Nelson Velasquez led another great musical improv session. Maybe next year they can get him for a second session.
If you are visiting GR in the fall try to arrange to do it the week if GRIF. You will be glad you did.

Fine Art has always been a deep passion inside of me. I was at New Life Logan Square and a friend who lead the worship music told me that I should paint while they play. Even though I questioned the idea, I gave it a try. 3 months later or so, a couple had asked me to do the same for their wedding and from then on; after a mentor from Steelcase asked me how my website was doing, he'd suggested since it seemed like most of the value the client was getting from my site was live painting that maybe I should center my full-time activity around that aspect, therefore I got started right away as quick as I could. There's nothing like it!
