I have over 11 years experience as a professional dog walker/pet sitter in addition to 11+ years of volunteering for Protectors of Animals at the Wethersfield pound. My passion for animals and love for dogs led me to have 8 cats and I rescued and rehabbed my very own Pittie boy, The Boogie Woogie Man. I have worked with a lot of special cases including safe handling and walking training.

Andrew is the only person we’ve trusted with our dogs for their entire lives. We have two medium-sized dogs, around 65lbs each; one with a very sweet and easy-going temperament and the other…not so much. Our female is quite dominant and not able to be with other dogs (she always picks fights). We knew we needed someone we could trust to keep her out of trouble in her younger years when we were away and had to leave them at home. I never had to worry about them when Andrew stayed with them. Now, our female dog is 12.5 and our male dog is 11, and I still only use Andrew to take care of them. I’ve also had the unique experience of seeing him interact with all different animals at the shelter, being a volunteer there alongside him. He is, without a doubt, the most fearless and compassionate dog handler I’ve ever come across. There is nothing he wouldn’t do for another animal, so if you want someone that cares about your pet as much as you do - Andrew is your guy! I’ve seen him do wonders for young dogs that have crazy high energy by taking them for long runs or walks. I’ve seen him with middle aged dogs that are happy to go for a long stroll. I’ve seen him with seniors who just need some companionship and some good roadside sniffing. He’s amazingly patient with fearful dogs, steadfast and calm with aggressive dogs and, fantastic with less challenging pets too! He’ll always be our top choice for taking care of our dogs when we can’t. Long story short, we highly recommend Andrew!!!

Alicia is absolutely amazing with all my kids! Besides the fact that my dog absolute LOVES her, she easily won over my geriatric cat who can be a bit shy and avoidant of new people. Aside from the wonderful care and love she gives them (1 dog, 3 cats), she pays great attention to the detailed instructions I leave her, AND EVEN WATERS THE PLANTS!
Alicia is a fantastic animal caregiver, and I can’t emphasize enough how lovely she is!
