Such a welcoming, positive, and fun experience! As a beginner, I couldn't have felt more supported. My dog was allowed to take everything in (new place, new people, new activity) and given nothing but positive reinforcement. Neither of us felt any pressure for a specific outcome. We were encouraged just to enjoy the moment.

A few years ago I got really sick and spent 7 weeks in the hospital. I had 2 high maintenance anxious dogs, 1 was a rescue. Bryana moved into my house and took great care of my fur kids! They both had daily medications that needed to given on schedule, and ate different things. I was able to concentrate on getting better and not worry about them. Knowing they were taken care of was a huge relief. I continued to return to the hospital several times for surgeries and Bryana continued to care for them thru out that year. Highly recommend for any “problem” fur kids or ones that require medical stuff !

We are and always have been deeply concerned with the welfare of the dogs entrusted to us since May 2011. Because of this fact, we have made the commitment to train in a humane and engaging way following protocols set forth by the IAABC, an international certifying organization making strides in creating standards for humane science backed training. Hi, my name is Lorena. I have been working with dogs for over 10 years. I started off in the rescue community by fostering for various shelters and rescues. I dabbled in training here and there with my own dogs and my fosters. When I decided to seriously pursue a career in dog training I decided to start with my own “problem” dog Loki (pictured with me). Loki had a serious fear of people that manifested itself in the form of severe reactivity. Balanced training completely changed mine and my dog’s lives. Over the years I’ve been blessed to have the opportunity to help countless other dog owners find this same confidence and freedom that Loki and I have. My life’s passion is to help as many people and dogs as I can. I am looking forward to meeting you and your dog/s.
I love all the dogs I work with, but I have a soft spot for the insecure, shy, anxious dogs. I love watching them come out of their shell and find their confidence.
My dog Loki. I got Loki when he was 4 months old. Even at such a young age he obviously had some serious issues. Not knowing better, I let those issues get worse. Loki was severely fear reactive and at the time I thought he was aggressive. When I decided to become a dog trainer, he was my "guinea pig". Loki today is a happy, confident dog that has no issues being around people and dogs and I want to help other owners/dogs achieve this same freedom we have today.
With a background in animal rescue, I have a passion for animals in general but especially for dogs. With me you can not only be sure your dog is getting quality training but also top-quality care and most of all love. Your dogs live in my home while they are with me for training and truly become a part of my family.
Currently I only offer training in the form of my 2-week day train (daily drop off/pick up) for locals and 3-week board & train for those of you who prefer to send your dogs to me for extended training and/or are not local.
No changes have been necessary as I work out of my own home with the dog and physical contact with owner is minimal.
