When my husband and I got a dog from our local animal shelter we quickly realized there was some things we knew how to each him, but there were a lot more that we just could not get him to learn. Thats where Mistie came in. She was so helpful from day 1. I had a call with her before she came over and even that helped me feel so much more at ease that she would be able to help our little dog. We have had her come over and train him in an environment he is comfortable in. Even the first day the change was night and day different. She helped to teach our dog the things that we were worried about and had concerns about, but even more than that she taught us how to help build the bond with our dog and how we could teach him the things we wanted him to do. I could not recommend any other dog trainer more highly. I know whenever I reach out to her I am going to get quality advice and training. We have had our dog bord with her as well and felt so comfortable leaving him with someone I knew would care about him. I knew he was probably going to have more fun with her then he would have on the trip with us which gives such a peace of mind. Our little pup is always happy to see the staff. The groomer cuts his hair exactly as asked. He always looks so handsome when I pick him up. We had to board him for 16 days in June. Our daughter checked on him regularly and assured me that him was happy and being well cared ffor. Great job Ameripet!

Idaho K9 Academy is hands down the best around. I recommend them to everyone who needs a trainer for their dogs. No matter if you are looking for basic obedience or advanced training, they have you covered. My pup first met Coby for her Initial Evaluation in November 2019. Since then she has done the Day Training Program and One on One Private Training. Day Training was so beneficial for her basic obedience and more advanced training. One on One Training has helped us to be able to focus and fine tune her individual training, especially when my girl went through fear stages and behavioral issues needed to be addressed. River has been training with Idaho K9 Academy since she was around 7 months old. It has been an amazing experience. She has come a long way since the end of 2019; I have Coby and Idaho k9 Academy to thank for having such a rockstar of a dog that people say to me all the time that they wished their dog behaved so well.
