DJ Náná was born in Cape Verde in the early 80s and migrated to the area in the late 90s. Náná started his DJ career in 1995, when he started performing for friends and family at parties and events. In the early 2000s, DJ Náná started performing at local clubs in Providence, Rhode Island. Náná excels in his roll as a divers international DJ with a background in Portuguese, Spanish, Capeverdean, African and American music.

Matt was the DJ for our May 2014 wedding, he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with planning the music and announcements. We had asked guests to rsvp with a song request and sent Matt a song list before the wedding, that he listened to and arranged songs in an order that kept the guest involved throughout the night, as well as taking on the spot request. Matt had our best interests in mind to make the night as fun and stress free as possible, with lots of communication to make sure that we were enjoying ourselves.
Our night was so special with the equipment that was used to enhance the venue, for our first song we used a fog machine and danced on a cloud, and had lighting that reflected the weddings theme. We were extremely happy with Music Box Entertainment services and their connections with other venders, helping us find a photographer, videographer, and bakery.
Our night was perfect, and are extremely happy with our choice of venders, would highly recommend Music Box Entertainment for your wedding!

Very impressed with Lee, Xandra, Melinda and the entire experience with Salty. We had multiple calls so Lee understood the music/vibe of the pool party and after party. I provided a 100 song Spotify playlist which he listened too and took to another level. Xandra added great vocals and even an opera performance! They also coordinated a saxophone to play alongside them. They really exceeded expectations for my disco themed 40th birthday in the Hamptons. Highly recommend.
