How long have you been in business?

I come from a family of boys so I am no stranger to mess. I grew up cleaning up after my brothers, then carried on that trend after having three children of my own (out numbered and spread thin).
I went on to become a Neonatal ICU nurse (an ICU nurse with a knack for cleanliness and organization-it's coming full circle). I knew I always enjoyed cleaning, seeing it more as a cathartic experience instead of a chore. Then I realized I get actual joy out of making things neat and tidy and I figured, hey why not pass that joy on to people who may not feel the same way. Thus, Pretty Tidy was born in 2021- my fourth child. I’m so excited to not only do what I love but also pass that benefit on to YOU.

Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?

Yes! I bring all equipment and supplies needed (cleaners, trash bags, vacuum, mop, etc). You don't have to worry about having a bag of supplies etc, like with other companies. We have it all ready to make your home clean and tidy!

What do you love most about your job?

I love making things clean and tidy for my customers so that they can enjoy their homes, after-all it is where we spend most of our time.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I realized that I have always been good and cleaning and organizing and wanted to pass that along to my customers. It's empowering to own your own business and I am proud to teach my children that anything is possible if you work hard.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

No we are not able to do remote services but we are able to offer quotes online. Everything will be done through a secure online portal up to the day of service.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

The COVID-19 pandemic is an evolving situation, we are monitoring the situation closely and will make changes as they become necessary. Safety of both our clients and staff will always be top priority. We owe it to each other to be honest. You will be sent a questionnaire 48 hours before your appointment, please answer honestly so that we can take appropriate action.
We recommend that you not be home while we are completing services but we do understand that a lot of people are now working from home. In the event that you must be home while we are there, we ask that you maintain a safe distance from us and wear a mask when engaging with our staff. Our staff will wear a mask into your home, during certain tasks, and when in communications with you.

*We will not preform any services in your home if anyone in that home is sick or in quarantine.

Safety measures in place:

-Daily health screens for all staff

-Weather permitting any screened doors or windows will be opened while we are providing our services and fans will be on. (ventilation can reduce the build up of contamination).

-To avoid cross contamination all equipment will be disinfected or replaced after each use and between each home.

-Focusing on disinfecting high touch areas within your home with EPA approved cleaning agents effective at killing viruses (including coronavirus).

-Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This is to protect us and you! Our PPE will include (but not limited to):

Face masks (mandatory in bathrooms, while using strong chemical agents and at staff discretion)
Disposable gloves (mandatory in kitchens and bathrooms, at staff discretion in other areas)
Safety glasses (when performing a task where splash back could occur)
