I hired Chef Tim for my daughter's 16th birthday party. He was quick to respond and great with communication. I appreciated that he was able to accommodate a dietary restriction, and was able to make some delicious green tea mochi for the birthday girl separate from our 4 course Japanese feast. Everything we requested was handled just as we had hoped, and the meal exceeded our expectations. Would definitely use again in the future.

We used Marcus for my daughter's wedding. He was patient, knowledgeable, professional and his suggestions were pivotal, as we made decisions on his services. He was attentive and responsive to our many texts, questions and conference calls. Contract arrived as promised and outlined clearly as to what was agreed upon. Our major obstacle was we were living in NY, bride and groom in TX with wedding and reception at the grooms', family members home, in TN.
We had an outdoor reception. They arrived on time, set up was swift. His staff was professionally dressed, courteous, generous with smiles and maintained sense of humor, with our crazy family. Food service was organized, beautifully plated, and table service was personable. Most importantly, the guests noted the meal was delicious and the Shugarman staff, were attentive to their needs! I encourage anyone to contact Shugarman for small or large events (we had approx. 100 ). One note, it'd would have been beneficial for us to see a website beyond social media. I'd encourage them (if not done so) to establish one. Due to us living in NY, bride living in TX and the wedding in TN, we relied on, pics and reviews before contacting Shugarman for quote. Marcus supplied past customers for us to contact, prior to committing with them. This review cannot do them justice, even with the 5 star rating!
