I ate with my daughter Maddie, and grandson Sylas Ray today. We ate at her work Zoko 822, Spanish Tapas and Gin Bar. On Ottawa street. Just north of downtown. We had Spanish fried rice, jamon croquettes , and blistered shishito peppers. All new foods to me. All the food was great. The Spanish fried rice really put a new spin on rice making for me. Then topped off this fine cuisine with McDonald’s Mcflurries! The food and atmosphere were top notch. The company, of my daughter and grandson were unparalleled. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is very nice. You can actually hear yourself talk. They have 84 different kinds of gin and they have a full bar if you don’t like gin. We cannot wait to go back! After looking at the menu I couldn't pick what I wanted, there was so much to try!! We decided on one of the options which was a 6 course meal! You get 2 plates of pintxos (peen-chos) which are bite sized tapas, then another 2 plates of tapas which are a shareable size, next you share an entree, and then finally share a dessert. We also did the wine pairing with our meal and were highly impressed with the pairing, everything went so well together!! We asked when the menu would change so we could come back and try another amazing array of flavors and textures and it sounds like every 3 months they change things up! We had a large party of all ages and were very happy. The service was fantastic the food was fun and delicious. The pork chop was by far the best thing we had with the empanadas and clams coming in a close second.

Hidden gem in Grand Rapids! Wonderful tapas style food. Unique and beautiful presentations. The clams were exquisite. Best I've ever had this far from the ocean.
