What I love most about my job is capturing meaningful moments and turning them into memories that families can keep forever. I enjoy meeting different people and helping them feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Seeing my clients happy with their photos—whether it’s a maternity session, family portrait, Headshot, wedding, or special occasion—is the most rewarding part of what I do.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own photography business because I have always been passionate about capturing meaningful moments and creating memories that last a lifetime. I wanted to turn my love for photography into something that helps people preserve their special moments. I enjoy working with families, couples, and individuals, and being able to create beautiful images that clients can cherish for years is what inspired me to start my own business.

Most of my photography services are provided in person at Yami Photo Studio in Annandale, VA or at an agreed-on location. I also offer online communication for consultation, session planning, discussing ideas, scheduling, and photo selection. Final edited photos are delivered digitally for easy online access and download.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
To help keep our clients safe and comfortable, we maintain a clean and sanitized studio environment by regularly disinfecting equipment, props, and high-touch areas. We also offer flexible scheduling to avoid overcrowding and can accommodate client preferences regarding health and safety measures when requested.
