WSG Services is a spin-off of our family restaurant 514 West. We decided to make our food and service more personal. Since the pandemic more of our clients want events at home or just in smaller event spaces other than large restaurants or hotels.

October 1st and we've finally gotten here. Edward has been patient with the changes in the number of guests, the change in food choices and even the last minute change in service arrangements.
He is happy and pleased to help. The venue is beautifully arranged, the food is exactly what we asked for and I am enjoying myself.
This is my memory of my mother's 88th birthday party, a joyful ending to what had been a tough few months for me. Thank you Edward for your patience and positive attitude. My mother enjoyed her party and I was able to as well. You and your team are appreciated.

What’s your signature dish?
We think that the Rack of Lamb Dijon is one of our featured dishes. One of the local specialties has baked crabmeat stuffed flounder with a lemon beurre blanc. With all of the fresh seafood and farm to table vegetables and starches it's hard to choose a favorite. Fresh collards, fresh corn on the cob, fresh ramps when in season all of these and more tantalizes the palate.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
After the food consultation and gathering dietary restrictions (if any) the customer decides whether they want Southern and/or Low country cuisine. We then offer the client at least three options in each course catergory (salads, appetizers, entrees, starches,vegetables and desserts) with pricing. Sometimes clients, even though they are in the South, they still want more Continental foods or more game (lamb, duck, filet of sole, pheasant, grouper) which we do very well. We also overnight seafood thats not indigenious to our location.We feature great starches like risotto, couscous, saffron rice and Savannah red rice.
What do you love most about your job?
The opportunity to assist a client create a menu that's perfect for their event. Putting options out their for the client to have an opportunity to create something that their guest would appreciate because the host or hostess know the guest that they invited to the event. If possible, we prefer to prepare less time consuming dishes onsite to insure freshness and quality.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When working highly esteemed Chefs of the Low Country for many years the food preparation itch gets really addictive. After years of training and hours upon hours of reading I decided to put my skills to work by doing small catering jobs for our friends and family. Positive feed back gave me the courage to form a company and corporation and go out on my own. Maximilian Wolfe a French culinary instructor who owned restaurants and hotels in the Low Country inspired me to take the step and not look back. I don't regret a day.

Guest can be insured that our farm to table product is as fresh as any product can be. The skilled chefs and cooks that we employ has the same skill and desire that I have to insure that every course and dish is made to perfection.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have always used latex gloves both pre and post pandemic however face mask were implemented during and we continue to wear them.

We provide personalize menus that you create for as small as 2 to as large as 200.
Wedding and receptions
We provide set up, food and beverage service and clean up services for the event. We can also supply tables chairs silverware, tablecloths and napkins for events up to 200.
Bartender Services
We have experienced bartenders for any event size.
