I don't normally write reviews but some time ago I purchased furniture from what I now know to be an inferior (Which will remane nameless) other store. There were problems with some fixings that were either missing, or didn't fit correctly.Since then I've been trying to secure replacement parts without success.I recently chanced upon the West Coast Living store, located in Laguna Niguel, and, more in hope than expectation, visited there, hoping that they might be able to help me with my problem.All staff were busy but store manager, Michelle, not only told me what parts I needed but was actually able to source and provide them for me.I was extremely impressed with her knowledge, attitude and the service she provided, particularly given that my defective furniture had been purchased from a completely different retailer. While inside West Coast Living, I browsed the store's extensive range of high quality furniture and will, without doubt, be retuning there next time I need to purchase furniture for my home. We have been more than thrilled with the exceptional attention and service we have received from Katie Thompson at West Coast Living in Laguna Niguel!  Katie went above and beyond to make sure we selected beautiful pieces for our newly renovated home that not only perfectly fit our design style, but also the spaces in which the furniture pieces would be placed.  Her follow up was superb as well!   We were also very impressed by the delivery team!  They were exceptionally timely, polite and efficient!  We love our new dining room table and chairs, island counter stools, coffee table, ottoman, occasional tables, bedroom chairs, dresser and bedside tables!  All pieces were carefully selected with Katie's superb design eye and attention to detail. If I could give more stars I would. Was there for their tent sale looking for nightstands to compliment the Thomasville dresser I purchased in the early 80s. All the sales clerks were very helpful but Leslie stood out. I ended up buying a bedroom set that I fell in love with but it only had one nightstand. She found another nightstand that complimented the set. Wasn't sure if the bedframe would fit my adjustable bed but Leslie offered to take it back if it didn't. Although they were extremely busy she spent just enough time with me to be helpful but without the sales pressure. Furniture was delivered the next day. Can't say enough about the two delivery guys. They were extremely careful to not damage my hardwood floors, They even moved a couple of pieces of furniture from my bedroom. Excellent service. More...

I'm not sure where the low rating comes from, other than the fact that people may be more driven to comment when they are unhappy. Well, we're happy with the shopping experience, delivery and set-up, and follow-up. I was provided ample information, including dimensions for various versions of the pieces we were looking at. Our space is shaped a bit awkwardly, so getting the fit was key. We love it so much, we went back and ordered another ottoman to complete the set.Thomasville is pricier than other furniture stores, for sure. But quality always is. And face it, as a customer it's on us - to a certain degree - to make sure that we're selecting the right pieces in the right color and style for our home. Cherokee was terrific to work with, not pressuring and always ready to find more information or suggest other pieces. In the end, this was the right choice for us and we couldn't be happier. More...

I came in here on a whim one day after being next door. I knew I wanted to redo "the room no one goes in" because I can't stand having a useless space. Melodie greeted me very friendly and informative. I found this sofa by Natuzzi that I just fell in love with. A month or 2 later after A LOT of research on the sectional I decided to pull the trigger. Melodie made this the most pleasant experience ever. My husband is very picky and is in sales and can't stand the "pushy" sales people. So he loved Melodie as much as I do. Our sofa had to be custom made in Italy and we ordered it on Dec. 23 and received it today. Perfectly on time! Setup and delivery was amazing and the delivery guys helped me arrange the rug because I had it in the wrong place. The sofa is beautiful and worth EVERY penny! Quality!!! Carol provided amazing customer service.  I had a few bumps in the delivery process (the manufacture no longer made the item that I ordered. )  But Carol saved the day.  She found another item that even better matched what I envisioned - and made sure that any pricing differential was not charged.  I love both the bench and chaise that i bought.  Only one problem now, the chaise is too comfortable - I'll probably getting very little reading done...more snoozing.  Thank you Carol! So we showed up on a Saturday with an expectation to furnish an entire living room "that day". While we were aware of long lead times, we hoped that we could find quality furniture that could be taken off the floor room. After all, we had guests coming and had no furniture in our new home.  Our objective quickly became more realistic, thanks to Regina. We walked in and shared our goal and she quickly jumped into action and ... well we furnished our entire living room in that one visit. Regina was amazing to deal with, helped us design a living room which transformed the house. She did that by looking at one picture I had on my phone and listening to our needs. I've worked with Richard Warren , a designer at this store, and he is excellent.  He's very responsive and has great taste and is very helpful in picking out styles, fabrics, color etc.  We had new blinds installed today and they look great. Ordered a sectional couch and was very impressed with the turnaround time and service. Staff was very helpful in helping us determine the right color and style for our living room, and went the extra mile to make sure it was perfect for us (ie. making the cushions firmer). I've read the previous reviews.  It's true, if you get someone who knows the product and is interested in doing a good job, you'll probably end up happy, which we did. Laurie Laurie (LL) took personal responsibility to make sure our very first Stickley purchase was perfect.  It was just a little bit better than perfect.  From the beginning LL was interested in understanding the our wishes and providing solutions.  All of that took a lot of time with no impression that her efforts would result in a sale.  That effort was very important since the Thomasville dealer in Yorba Linda was closer, and the staff there was kind and helpful, but not as sharp as LL.One day later back in the store to put together the purchase order with LL and figure out the right color match to a family heirloom hutch.  3 months later the table arrives exactly as LL ordered it.  Perfect. Laurie did other stuff to make sure this all went according to plan;  make sure things were on time, make sure delivery schedule fit, and a few more things to chase loose ends.People want to do a good job, but sometimes you need to let them.  I made a judgement call to let Laurie Laurie do hers and she exceeded all expectations, plus a few. Love, love, love our new living room furniture. (Somewhat expensive, but good quality.) Although our sales rep, Terry, did not come to the house prior to purchase; we came to store prepared with measurements and pix (of our then current setup.) With her experienced interior designer background, she recommended various furniture pieces (including lamps) and suggested fabric colors and designs that would be compatible with our existing furniture and color scheme. My wife and I entered the store with a good idea of what we were considering and wanted to see.  We were greeted by Melodie who asked how she could assist.  We said we wanted to look around.  She said, fine and there was no issue of feeling "pursued".  She checked back a couple of times with a sincere desire to see if we had questions.  We did find some pieces of interest and Melodie was very helpful with suggestions of fabrics, leather, accent pillows, etc.  As the time with her evolved we came to a selection of items that really worked for us.  We purchased what we felt was very good quality for the money spent.Four weeks after purchase, Melodie called to give us an idea how the manufacture of the pieces were going and created an expectation for delivery (within the time frame originally quoted).Two weeks later she called again to say all of the items had arrived and wanted to schedule a delivery date.  The delivery guys called the day before to give us a "window" for delivery.  The delivery was on time, the guys were courteous and polite, and the furniture was perfect.  A great experience with Thomasville and Melodie!Doug and Judy B More...

The Huntington Beach store has really knowledgeable designers, who will come out to your home for a design consultation, and it's complementary!  They sell over 20 different lines of furniture in addition to their "Thomasville" line, including Stickley, Bernhardt, Hooker, Bermax, Lexington, Tommy Bahama & more! They also have a clearance room in their back storage area, if you want a deal or need something right away.  They also sell accessories, artwork & lamps right off the floor. Over the last several months we have purchased several fine pieces of furniture with the assistance of Rosalinda Fattola and Carol Ehrke.  We must say, the service they provided, care and attention  was top notch. Responsive to our needs, they helped us pick out the perfect pieces (two Theodore Alexander campaign desks, a desk chair and other pieces) for our study and bedroom.  Their prices were quite competitive with what we saw advertised on the internet with the advantage of being a local store where one can see samples in the flesh, and discuss them with Rosalinda and Carol in person.  Unlike some of the other furniture stores we checked at during this time,  Rosalinda and Carol know their products and know furniture!  They strove to meet our timetable on one of the pieces as well!  All in all our experience has been the best one we've had in quite a while and we'll definitely be back for more as we continue to update our home.   Thank you Rosalinda and Carol!!! After having a bad experience with my order at the Savi Ranch location which I decided to cancel due to poor customer service, I went to the Tustin location. I was lucky enough to have Laura help me with a new order. She was amazing and went above and beyond helping me. Times change and so has this location.  I love the collections they put together, and the salespeople who they bring in not only know their stuff, but they're laid back and helpful, and stand by their product. We really like Tommy Bahama --- we like the look, the durability, and I must say if you are into Tommy Bahama this location is a much better venue than even the Tommy Bahama store at South Coast Plaza.Our most recent visit we were helped by Katie Thompson and she was GREAT!  She listened. She got a feel for what we were trying to accomplish and with so much energy and expertise she took us to all corners of the store to point out ideas and pieces that would work for us. I never would have been able to do this without her help.   I never would have connected the different pieces scattered around the store.    It's such a pleasure to work with experts & ultimately they do a better job with Tommy Bahama pieces than Tommy Bahama direct does.I am a repeat shopper there for a reason.   Thank you for staffing your store with pro's. While visiting your store, I had the great pleasure of meeting a salesperson who was very different than others I have met on the past. Before walkjng in I actually dreaded dealing with the sales staff. However, I was delighted to meet a sales asdociate who was a breath of fresh air! Elizabeth Beny was energetic and funny. My experience with West Cost Living was excellent, from start to finish! Grace, my salesperson, was so helpful and knowledgeable. I almost felt like I attended a class, as she explained the construction and options of the piece I selected. Was it cheap? Nope! Was it worth it? We were very pleased with everyone's customer service. The sales people at the Tustin store were great to work with, attentive, very professional, and knowledgeable: Ray (store manager) and Patti (our sales person). This was our first Stickley family room sofa and armchairs set and we could really use their help and advice. Later we were dealing with Jose for some customer service issues (he is the warehouse and service manager), and he was spectacular!!! We are very grateful for all his great help. The most refreshing was to see how involved the store senior managers, Mark and JD Haver, are with day to day customer service issues. Their hands on management style is very valuable to customers.
