Dog Training
She is extremely knowledgeable about dogs, thier behavior, the body language what does and doesn't work when training. She is very patient and took the time to answer all my questions and explain things to me until I fully understood. She is completely about the animal and it's safety and mental and emotional well being. I would absolutely recommend her to friends and family. More...

Dog Training
It has taken me some time to write this review! *PLEASE READ COMPLETELY*
First a foremost, I would like to say that I respect dog trainer 1000% and understand how hard it can be to find a good one, at a decent price.
When Waggin’ Tails followed up on an inquiry I had about dog training, the owner was professional and explained me to how everything would be done in training my pup.
We accepted a 3 week board and train contract of $1063.00
This also included us visiting our dog everyday for 1 hour training sessions. These were preschedule sessions during the weekdays at 4pm and the weekends at 2pm. My dog stayed for 1 week and 4 days.
There were several times that we arrived for sessions and our dog was outside (weather was upwards of 80 degrees) and every time, we noticed that he did not have water. Actually, 2 times, we had to ask staff to get him water.
Secondly, on one occasion, we made the trip for the session (we lived 30 minutes away, that was our choice) and when we arrived, our dog was, again, outside, 87 degrees, no water, very little shade and we were met at the door by the husband of the owner. The husband was bringing out trash and stated that him and the owner had been in a “dispute” and that they had “things to work through”
Being a married couple, we respected, understood, and minded our business as this is their home and they are just any other married couple.
We did not respect, that we stayed there outside with our dog for 45 mins, AGAIN, no water, no shade, we were told that we could not enter the home because the owner was “ indecent” … so we waited for 45 minutes and nobody checked on him or us while we were there. We went up and told them we’re leaving and against our better judgement, we left our dog there.
The next day we were picking our dog up for a trip to the vet, as requested by the trainer and just Precautionary measures on our part. Since he had been at the trainers home, he was very fatigued, wasn’t eating and was not interested in the training. As pet parents, you see these things as red flags.
Upon taking our dog to vet, he was INFESTED with fleas, he had two large marks of dry blood on the back of his ears, the vet informed us that he was suffering from heat exhaustion (his breed is not meant the be outside for long periods of time in 80+ degree weather)
We were supposed to bring him back the following day to continue board and training but naturally, we decided against it. When the owner contacted me and I informed her that our dog would NOT be returning and all the reasons why, she proceeded to downplay everything.
She said, and I quote “ As far as the fleas generally most dogs get bathed here when they enter only reason I didn't do Bullseye back because he said you would just saved him and he was still wet“
Practically blaming us for flea that we can confirm through vet visit, records, etc that he DID NOT have when he arrived.
Also stating, quote again “ Well on the days I wasn't available I was recovering from a (personal) Wednesday I had the (personal) and it takes a day or two to recover.”
While I appreciate transparency, I would have been more open and understanding, had we not made a thirty minute drive WITH prior notification that we were coming, not only to arrive and have my dog outside with no water.
I also purchased a ESA vest for my dog as his training with the owner switched to some emotional support training, the vest arrived and I received photos of this while it was on him. The very next day, the vest was handed to us chewed up and we were told that our dog had chewed through it. Disappointed to say the least, but even more concerned about why my dog was not supervised while wear this vest? Weather he was in his crate, out laying around or whatever, he WAS NOT working, the vest should not have been on.
Nevertheless, we signed a contract, and I absolutely can respect that. So I communicated with the owner that I would appreciate the contract be adjusted for the time that my dog actually spent in her car, again that 1 week and 4 days of a 3 week board and train.
She took off $200 from the vest that was chewed up and said that was all she could do.
Against our better judgement, we accepted this contract and agreed to pay the updated amount of $893.
I have since paid $450 towards this contract and I have communicated throughout my payment arrangement. I contacted the owner this week as I could not afford to make the full $150 bi-weekly payment, I asked if we could negotiate a fair partial payment, she responded an amount of $120. I also can not afford that so I shared that with her. I have been MORE than willing in this situation but so refuse to stay silent and let other people choose this business. I’ve spoken to many professional dog trainers since this happen and they have ALL shared with me that I should sue, and that they would NOT have made me pay this much of a contract, if my experience was this.
Needless to say, I am STILL coming out of pocket for flea treatments of my dog, I STILL have not received a replacement vest, bowl, patches, etc, dog food, etc. That was left at the owners house the day I picked up my dog with the intention of bringing him back.
I brought my dog in with a 30lb bag of food, he refused to eat while in her care so I bought him two other bags of dog food to see if he’d eat those, I was told that he started to eat one of the bags and the other bag was not opened yet. The 30lbs bag of food that my dog refused to eat, I actually donated to the owner for the other pets in her care, however, when I picked my dog up, THIS bag was what was returned to me. So there was 2 other bags of food I did not receive back. I was not compensated for the vest (other than the $200 taken off of the contract, that was not the price of the vest)
I was not compensated or returned the collapsible dog bowl, the patches for the vest, the ESA tag.
As I am typing this review, the owner has just reached out to me to inform me that there will be a later payment added if I do not pay today. I told her, I will not be paying any late fees as late fees are not mentioned in the contract that I signed. PLEASE BE ADVISED. Pay the extra money to go to real professionals that care about your fur babies. Please trust you gut!

Sorry you feel like that although you have been late on multiple payments when you signed a contract. You broke that contract which made services voided. I minimized your amount that you owed even though due to the contract I had no legal obligation to do it. You can leave a horrible review but my training speaks for itself and your lack of commitment and honesty spoke for you. I apologize that you aren't satisfied that you would have the same service had you paid more.

Mary is wonderful, working well with my German Shepard pup. I wanted to walk with them and she prefers this, to keep dog and owner bonded. She is far better than I ever anticipated. More...

Dog Training
We are just getting started but the care and training that has taken place so far has been awesome. We are learning ways to work with our dogs on our own along with the personal attention they are getting weekly with our trainer!

Thank you so much for those kind words. I appreciate it and can't wait to see you and your pups grow even more.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the pups create a forever bond with there owner. It's amazing what they can do. And of course I create a bond with client and pups and love to call them part of my business's family.
Personal trainer says, "He loves his job because it fills him with energy and positivity!"
What inspired you to start your own business?
Be my own boss. Make my own pricing options to help people and pups. I remember whenever I wasn't trained to be a dog trainer I could never afford dog training. My goal is to help it become affordable for those that need it but may not have it up front.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm force free and only use positive reinforcement. I do follow-ups for 6 months to a year after. I offer discounted extra courses if you choose to move forward with your training after your first course. It's a loyalty program in each course you do it goes up 5%. If you have a letter for esa dog which is an emotional support dog I discounted 50% to make it affordable and also give you payment options service dog working is free if a doctor says you need them. Basically I want to help people and dogs grow a bond that can never be broken and have a happier life together! Would you like to join the Waggin' Tails family? Give me a call when we can set up a free consultation!
Personal trainer says, "Because I push myself to become better every day in every aspect of my life and I'll push you too. I can motivate you to keep striving for your goals. Everybody has potential, and I can help you find yours."
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I do online for obedience (basic and advanced.) That's the only thing that I will offer online because I feel like service dog, ESA, puppy k and agility needs to be in person. ESA and service dog I can do the first part video but I have to be in person to do the public Training.
The personal training can be online and virtual.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
If I'm sick I cancel or try to do video if possible. If clients sick I request masks to be worn and I carry hand sanitizer. I also try to do a reminder text so that if clients not feeling good they can let me know ahead of time and I do not hold it against them if they are sick.
Dog training
I do any type of training. It ranges from puppy k to specialized like service dog and agility.
Dog daycare
I do this periodically if I have room at my house.
Dog walking
I walk dogs for exercise. I also try to run them a little. I like to take them to dog parks if given permission to burn off energy and have fun.
Board and train
Apologies. My board and train services are cancelled for this time. I will get it back up and running as soon as possible.
Personal fitness coach
I lead virtual and in person fitness coaching
