What inspired you to start your own business?
I started Valor because I had a handful of small companies I owned that needed a simplified bookkeeping service that was inexpensive, but cloud-based and easy to maintain. After setting this up for the few companies I owned, I decided to extend the same platform/service to other companies that are similarly situated.
Years later, I transitioned the business from being a bookkeeping services to focusing on complex individual and business tax preparation and accounting for "larger" small businesses.

I have 20+ years experience as a CPA and financial professional, having owned my own business and helped countless others. I've always enjoyed the idea I can help someone with taxes, an area of complexity for most people, and am glad to do it.
