What an amazing barbecue! The meats were perfectly cooked juicy, flavorful, and with just the right touch of smokiness.

The chicken was delicious well seasoned, tender, and nicely grilled. The roasted pork ribs were definitely a highlight fall off the bone tender and packed with flavor. And to top it all off, the lobsters were a fantastic surprise perfectly cooked, they added a special touch to the whole experience.

Went to an event in Flushing this past weekend and the food was unbelievable, from the lobster tails to the tomahawk steak. ....even the Latin style rice. Loved it all. Felix is an amazing chef and his presentation was spot on. Well deserved congratulations for his craft. Thank you again!! More...

From the first conversation I knew I would hire. Felix was very professional and understanding. He totally addressed all my needs even last minute ones. I would definitely recommend.

In March 2025 I posted a need for a private Chef for my husband's retirement party on April 27 2025 for 75-80 guest. Chef Felix of Urbanchefnyc responded via phone, he and I quickly hit it off, I told him what my vision was for a high end Afternoon Sunday Brunch Buffet with approximately 25 dishes.
We communicated via text and phone over the month going forward. On the event day I met Chef Felix and his 2 person staff who arrived early to begin set up for a 12 noon start. They exceeded my expectations, not only were they professional and courteous but they went above and beyond their job description by setting up the drinks and coffee bar, arrangement of my fruit and flower displays on the buffet tables to enhance the ambiance of the venue.

The cuisine Chef Felix prepared was prepared fresh, delicious and presented so beautifully. All 25 dishes were good and well received by the guest of honor and his guests. They only other thing I will say is

Working with the chef from Urbanchefnyc was easy and fun. He responded immediately to my request for a dinner / birthday party. There after we communicated regularly. His quick response to my concerns, the number of people attending the event, and questions about the menu gave way to my quick confidence in him. As we prepared he sent me several mock menus and from there we created a menu of 3 appetizers, 2 main courses, and 2 desserts. The portions were plentiful and there was always plenty enough food on the table for seconds and thirds. My favorite dishes were the sushi, chicken Marsala, beef with chimichanga sauce and the flourless chocolate mousse cake. I highly recommend Urbanchefnyc. The party was fun, food was excellent and the kitchen was cleaned up before his staff left. You can’t go wrong. More...
