What do you love most about your job?
I start at 7AM EST and close down at midnight. Why? because this is not a job in the normal sense - it is a joy. I have fun doing what I know I was meant to do and I do my best to make it fun for my students. I love seeing the lightbulb go on when a student reaches that "Ah-hah!" moment. It is a joy to hear the laughter of the students as they learn in the way I present the material. I also love that I can teach them tricks that their teachers don't because of my knowledge of psychology, which includes memory tricks, organizational skills, understanding motivations, and public speaking.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been tutoring others all through my life. My son once said that if I was paid in sand, I would still tutor. My wife says that I tutor in my sleep. The number of people asking for my help with tutoring began to take more time than the time I was spending as a university professor so I retired and went full time. It has been the best decision of my life as I have fun now almost every day.
Why should our clients choose you?
We offer a free first session because we want the student to feel that what they get is worth what they pay. After the first session, if they think it is worth it, then they decided why they should choose to work with me.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
My sessions are online because I am able to tutor more effectively using this program than I can actually in person. Online, I can start on the hour and finish on the hour whereas, when I am driving to the client or they are coming to me, this never happens. Also I can record all the sessions and the student can go over and over what is covered so more can be covered in a shorter period. I can write on my screen so it appears on the student's screen just as it would if I was doing this right next to them with a piece of paper. I can assure you that it is nothing like the online training offered by schools or colleges - check out what my students say and you will know this is true.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Covid-19 has not affected the way I work except that I now don't work with anyone in-person unless they have already been vaccinated or had the virus themselves (I am a survivor myself so have antibodies). Online tutoring is not affected by this kind of virus.

We have a British actor and VoiceOver artist who has trained and worked for 22 years on stage, tv, film, radio, and online projects; she has studied Stanislavsky, Brecht, Berkoff, Method, Classic, and Shakespearean acting styles.
She also writes for stage and screen.
She will help you with instruction on VoiceOver techniques, navigation of the industry, the skills required to achieve contrasting character voices for animation, audiobooks, foreign language dubbing, and multiple character narration. You will learn audition techniques for VoiceOver and regular acting, monologue preparation, character work, improvisation, sketch comedy, and script analysis imperative to character development.
