I give this business 5 stars or a million stars to be totally honest!! TREY FOSTER THE OWNER of this business is a total qualified and professional trainer on all fronts! ! He is an upbeat and positive very friendly and kind person who knows his skill vastly and is confident and sure and highly educated in his field. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer for you and he has a classic lovely way of presenting himself and his knowledge to you that allows you as the client to feel confident and eager to learn all he is offering. His style is very easy to follow and he is very patient and explains things so well it makes it very easy for you to follow and learn his training paths. He makes himself and his process available to you on a constant basis offering his guidance throughout anytime u may need him. He is beside you all the way and available for you anytime. His philosophy makes sense and he is so very gentle and never uses force or loud commands. All his tactics are quiet and confident commands that I was in AWE of immediately when his first corrections with my dog showed immediate results within minutes after he applied them!!! He is a lovely person who makes you feel as if you have known him for years!! A class act and he is wonderful with your animals and to his clients. I had results the first session and have already had great results on the day after his training session on my own. I couldn't even walk my dog until I had Trey show us his skills and he touched on every need we had - I feel so confident and ready to take on all I learned and can't wait to see how following his plan is going to just keep giving and giving great results to my pup and me and my family!! When Trey came to help us with our dog, I was struggling with a high energy, young dog that seemed to find many opportunities to get into all things he was not supposed to, jump on people he met, and zoom, zoom, zoom around our house. After Trey worked with us and our dog for only a few hours, we had a different life with our dog, and seemingly a different dog. We learned much from Trey about how to communicate effectively with our dog so he understood our boundaries, our needs of him, and our communication with him. We also learned to read and understand his communication with us better. With Trey's ample information and videos, we are now successfully able to set our boundaries with our dog and train him. Our pup Atlas was giving us some challenges with reactivaty. Always wanting to meet (bark) at everyone. Trey shows up and immediately is able to change Atlas's behavior. Adopted an 8 month old pup about 3 weeks ago from an animal shelter and we needed help! She was in and out of a negligent home, so she was very reactive, more so to other dogs, but was starting to react to people as well. She is almost 70lbs and will def get bigger, so we called Trey to help us out with her behavior. She was trying to figure out where she was in our "pack" (me and my husband - no kids) and started nipping at us. Another problematic behavior. I was getting nervous, like did we get the right dog? Is she going to actually bite me?
The minute I talked to Trey on the phone, he offered advice right away to stop the nipping and it worked! My mind was put to ease with our new and huge pup.
We scheduled a training session about 2 weeks after we talked to Trey (I had schedule conflicts). A few minutes after Trey walked into our house, our pup was so calm. His training method works!!! He is a dog whisperer. No joke.
We took her for a walk and I was like who is the dog?? We walked past people and other dogs without issue. She almost had an issue with 1 dog, but he quickly corrected her and showed us what to do. My husband and I cannot be happier!!!

Fantastic training by Trey! He is so calm, so he not only calms our doggies, but also the mom (me). I learned so much about dog behavior and what to do, as well as what not to do. It's a wonderful experience.

Trey was wonderful. He had my dog laying down within a few minutes and laying in one of her beds she didn’t like after it was washed. He takes the time to explain everything that he is doing and why. He is very energetic and engaged. He showed me techniques for training my dog that I didn’t think I could do but was able to. My pup is super smart and just needs guidance, actually it is me that needs the guidance. In one day it’s like a changed dog we still have much to work on but I am excited for our next session. We are deeply grateful for Trey! Trey introduce me to our pup, Pongo & he trained him prior to Pongo joining my household when he was 4months old. Trey is extremely knowledgeable with dogs, and also a great people person. My partner and I feel that we've learned so much in just a few sessions! He has helped us understand how our pup thinks and more importantly, how we as humans can think and speak in a way that makes it easy for our dog to understand what we want of her. Picked this company strictly from ratings only! I want only the best, for my best!!!! And boy! Did NOT disappoint!!!! I had 2 sessions and that was ALL it took! Trey is incredible, extremely knowledgeable, and very patient trainer! He spent extra time answering all my silly questions and showed me what I was doing wrong. Trey is amazing. From the second he walked into our home. Our dog Skipper was completely different. He gave us some really great tools and we learned how our dog thinks. We have been trying to train Skipper to be calm and be a good walker on leash for over a year with little to no success. With Trey's help we almost have a completely new dog overnight. We are still in awe at the marvelous job Trey did with Skipper.

Trey is thoughtful, caring and understanding. He knows his stuff but also wants your household to have it's own set of rules. He does a great job of communicating how your dog thinks and some key areas to practice with your dog.

Trey is a magician. Our 10 year old dog responded immediately to him. He gave us humans the tools to help our dog learn the rules and understand his place in the pack, and helped us to understand how in the doggie brain, he needed that structure to relax. Walks improved immediately with the working walk. Trey did 2 x 3 hour sessions with us which was very helpful to work through some of the more stubborn aspects of the dog. The commands are great, but what is even better is that we are making progress in the cat and dog living in harmony together! I can't recommend him enough. I was a skeptic but needed help training a new puppy and Trey exceeded my expectations in every way. We had an older dog, and along term guest dog in our home. We added a puppy and decided training was worth a try. We are super pleased with the progress of each dog; especially the puppy. Trey is easy to work with as a pet owner but more importantly our dogs enjoy their learning time with him too. Trey is hands on and helps you master the art of consistent training. We bought a puppy package and will continue with training as our puppy ages for "tune ups". It is a fun way to get your pets making great choices. Trey really understands dogs! My most recent rescue is a German Shepherd mix who has had a hard life and is reactive to other dogs. She goes wild any time she sees a dog outside a fence, whether they are on a leash or off, and even fenced dogs can be a problem. During our first session, Trey had her calmly sitting at his feet while he explained things to me and my husband from a dog’s perspective. He took all of us on a walk, showing techniques and tips for all of us to be successful. It’s been 4 days since then, and today while we were walking, a small dog (unleashed) came up to us. I tried not to transmit any anxiety to my dog, and both dogs touched noses and were both wagging! This is something I never would have been able to do just a few days ago, but with the training and information that we received from Trey, walks are far less stressful for both me and my dog. After 4 years with Chewbacca he's been great minus some reactive behavior due to trauma. My Leia acted like Queen B due to my roommate counter acting training.
After Trey came over my roommate started doing things right and now Leia is a Sweet Honey Bee. She's way less pushy and learned heel the first day with Trey. I was blown away. I thought I tried everything.
Apparently I was on the right track with collars and leashes but again Trey one upd me and provided a better leash/collar that was very similar.
Now me with weak shoulders can walk 2 powerful dogs with minimal reactions and they wanna listen better. I was worried I'd never get to walk 2 dogs and would have to call Rover.
We still have some consistency to work on with new habits. But I can't wait to take these dogs on cross country road trips. Before I didn't. I was always worried about dog fights from Chewbacca and Leia just disappearing.
Now I'm way less worried. Way more hopeful.

Trey is absolutely ahh-mazing at what he does. After just 2 hours and 15 minutes I have a complete different dog. My dog and I both needed the training. I know, sounds too good to be true but it's not. I had a reactive dog. The very next day after 1 training session she is sleeping in my lap with workers at the house. Initially I had Trey work with my Belgian Malinois with a few two hour lessons which did wonders for my dog. I then decided to board my dog with Trey for a week. Right from the start, there was an immediate sense that Trey genuinely cares about the dogs he works with, providing us with a reassuring feeling that our own pup would be in capable hands.

I found Tune-up Pup through Bark and I have to say that it was such a great decision. When I first got my puppy, he was showing a lot of signs of aggression, territorial possessiveness, and disobedience. With Trey, we have been able to have get my puppy to trust in me as the leader more and he now responds to commands, shows less aggression, and has been able to socialize better amongst humans. Trey was fantastic. He spent an hour and 45 minutes with my husband and I and our teenage puppy who had become quite a punk! Treys knowledge and ability to connect with both dog and owner was extremely impressive. He helped us immediately with a few big behavior issues Boone was displaying and several other smaller issues - but most significantly shared and demonstrated his firm, yet fair and kind knowledge and approach to dog training and setting us up for success.
