I found Travis through Bark, and I’m very glad I did. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. He had ideas for the room that I never would have thought of, and he also helped think about the flow of the room and other important considerations. In addition to his great design help, I also found it a huge help that he would hire and meet the the different trades at my house to do the trim work, wallpaper, installation, painting, and electrical. It was a huge help having him manage all of that so that I could be out of town or go to work and have everything continue without me. I also liked that he got swatches of everything so I could see and feel the fabrics, wallpaper choices, etc. He made the whole process as effortless as possible. Travis is an exceptionally talented designer. Working with him was so easy and his process is fully detailed. He really takes the time to get to know his clients and brought our vision to life. We are a family of 5 - a set of toddler 2yr old twins and 5 yr old and we wanted to find a solution for the chaos in our living room/dining area as well as create a magical bedroom for the kids in a small space. He brought function and form into our space and sourced aesthetically pleasing practical pieces that matched our style into our home. Our living room is gorgeous and I have the banana tree I have always wanted! More importantly, the kids have a dreamy landscape to enjoy. What’s your interior design process?
It's super important to listen to and understand what the homeowner's end goals are for their space- so that is the first step in the process. The path to reach those goals are, of course, where I can help as interior design is an incredibly complex and time-consuming (ad)venture.
The next step is concept development where clients receive lots and lots of visuals. These include 3D models, printed plans, physical samples and the like. I believe the more imagery you receive the more certainty you'll have about the final outcome.
The final steps are often overlapping when installers are busy installing, furnishings are being delivered and all the details are being perfectly arranged. This is an exciting phase as you begin to see and touch your new space for the first time.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
There are so many incredible interior design styles- how does one choose? If I had to go with three descriptor words for my designs I’d choose: comfortable, warm and layered. Ultimately my goal is for your interior to reflect your lifestyle and ideally compliment your home’s architecture. To me, the most stunning rooms are style mash-ups and expertly include elements from a variety of looks.
What do you love most about your job?
I get jump-up-and-down excited when a client tells me how their new interior is helping them live better. Good design can help people relax, communicate, sleep more soundly and mitigate daily frustrations. Hearing stories with these results is incredibly fulfilling.

In-Person Consultation – $325
There's simply no substitute for seeing your space in-person together and really talking through your desires (and frustrations!). This one-hour consultation is a valuable time of learning, measuring and meaningful discussion about the future design of your home.
Concept-to-Install Design – Flat Fee
The requirements for each home’s design vary, so flat fees will flex based on the project’s complexity and scale. Prior to our engagement, you’ll receive a custom proposal detailing your project’s goals, timeline and a breakdown of design fees.
Deliverables typically include:
• A scaled space plan for your interior including furniture and lighting layouts.
• A working 3D model of your redesigned room with conceptual furnishings.
• An online project dashboard where you can view real-time updates to Pinboards and furnishing Schedule(s).
• A schedule(s) of furnishings, fixtures and accessories with discounted trade pricing and lead times.
• All available samples for paint, wallpaper, millwork, upholstery, hardware, rugs, tile, etc.
• Specifying and sourcing appliances, lighting, plumbing fixtures, tile, countertops, hardware, window treatments, custom upholstery, millwork, floor coverings, cabinetry, additional finishes.
• Art and décor selection and placement.
• On-site coordination with your choice of contractors and installers.
• Merchandise management including simplified pay-as-we-go, tracking and returns.
• Ongoing project support to ensure the integrity of the installation and final design.
