My young husky mix had almost no formal training, struggled with leash pulling, counter surfing, you name it. The k9 expert quoted me results in 6 sessions. I have currently completed 5 sessions and my pup is almost ready to graduate. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Very flexible with scheduling, and they come to you. Ugh, if I could give zero stars, I would. I set up an evaluation and got a text saying they were on their way. A couple of hours later, I asked if everything was good, and they said they were dealing with an aggressive dog and had to reschedule. Whatever, but why say you're on your way if you're dealing with a dog like that? Anyway, a week goes by, and no one contacts me to reschedule, so I ask if they're even a real company. They say yes, so I ask when someone will contact me, and they say they were in a meeting all morning. It's been over a week! I say okay, and they give me the prices. I know it's a lot of money, but I'm willing to pay. I say it's fine, and week later, I still haven't heard anything about a new appointment. This is so unprofessional, and I'll never recommend them. It was the worst experience ever, and I'm taking my business elsewhere because over a thousand dollars for this kind of treatment is ridiculous. *update after owners response* not once was *doing me a favor*mentioned in our communication once not one time was it mentioned i was being squeezed in either. Also if text communication was an issue why did you have the entire conversation in text? You could of said please call us instead. I couldn’t be happier with the training services provided for my 2 dogs, Mabel (7 month bernadoodle) and Duncan (6 year old goldendoodle - he was 1 year at the time of his training with Drew). Drew is an AMAZING trainer and I would recommend the K9 Expert to anyone who is looking to train their dog and/or dogs to behave and/or get along. My fiancé and I wanted to move in together but with his overly aggressive German shepherd, River, and my overly excited Cavachon, Bella, they were constantly triggering the worst behavior in each other! Upon meeting us for the first time, he had River sitting down without barking or lunging at Bella as she was quietly sitting next to them on the couch - in just 30 minutes! I was super new to training, specifically for extreme separation anxiety as my prior dogs didn't require it. I was hesitant, overwhelmed, and didn't know where to begin. Drew is an amazing trainer! We did the puppy training package and will continue doing classes and group classes the results are amazing. I'm extremely satisfied with the outcome of our dog. He is off leash at only 7 months, listens to all of his commands without hesitation. I can take him anywhere without worrying if he's going to jump on someone, chew up a toy, steal a bite to eat off of a table or someone's plate or bite and growl at anyone. We started our training at the earliest we possibly could and will continue to meet at group or add a class here and there to stay consistent. I can call or message Drew anytime with any questions or concerns I have had or may have in the future and he's quick to respond and guide me through whatever the situation may be . Drew did an amazing job with my 3 year old chihuahua Lola! She was super aggressive and loud in public, we couldn’t even walk past people or talk to anyone in public without her making a scene! Now she doesn’t even acknowledge people talking to her as we pass, and listens very well off leash! Using the commands Drew taught me to use with her has made a big difference. Drew is an amazing trainer! My German Shepherd was not socialized and aggressive when I called The k9 Expert. The transformation in my dog’s behavior was noticeable from the very first lesson, and now I have a well behaved, off leash trained dog that I can take anywhere in public. We currently are following up the in home lessons with Drew’s ongoing group classes which allow us to reinforce everything we have learned. The k9 expert has been super helpful with my Frenchie! I love the diversity with the training. We do in home training, outside and go to stores, so Sonny is worked in different environments! Sonny is now off leash trained and I couldn’t be more pleased! Sonny also attends the group training classes offered so he is always continuing his training! We have been working with Drew for 4 weeks now! Unbelievable the transformation in our Molly! She went from pulling me down when I tried to walk her to walking my neighborhood with just a 15ft leash and her not leaving my side. We highly recommend Andrew at The K9 Expert! We adopted an 11-year-old male Chihuahua named Grumpa. He only took to me. Nobody could look at me, come near me, talk to me or even sit next to me or he would bark aggressively charge and attack and bite!!!!! He was extremely aggressive with everyone!We had to keep him separated in another room which we didn’t want to do. I was at my wits end I called the foster mom and arranged to have Grumpa taken back to the foster home. A friend of mine recommended Andrew The K9 Expert.... Andrew came to our home for a free evaluation… And boy does he know his stuff! We scheduled a training session immediately. After the first session Grumpa was a different dog!!!! Each session we address different issues. As well as going over things from the past class it was a pleasure.Not only is the aggression gone he addressed other behaviors to make it a pleasure to have a dog. We lost two months of socialization with our lab puppy due to mandatory crate rest after hip dysplasia surgery at 6 months of age. Drew helped us through private lessons with our lab pup so she felt more at ease with basic commands and social situations, especially the heel command, so she’s not dragging us on walks anymore. Drew is also amazing with training the owners. :) His patience, support and knowledge has been wonderful. So much so, that I’ve signed up with Drew to help train my lab to be a therapy dog. Drew was a fantastic trainer and as patient with me as he was with my pup. I was very nervous about an e-collar and he made it approachable and less intimidating. Jameson was already a pleasure but we can take him out to more places without him barking at other dogs, he is more confident and truly such a joy to be around. BEST TRAINING EVER!!!! Our beloved pit/lab mix is smart and sweet but once he hit adolescence he got an attitude! Haha we have had the dog since 4 months old and he went thru some basic training with a “so so”trainer and he learned his basics but I was never really impressed. Now he’s about to turn two and he needs tough love and Drew brought that to the table! He explained everything so clearly to us! He put the dog into situations where he knew he would react and therefore we could immediately correct him! It worked like a dream! Drew has all the skills and knowledge to properly train dogs (and their owners!) I recommend him highly!!! Our dog has changed for the better and is a great listener! Booking The K9 Expert is the best thing that you will do to help your pup! Prior to training, my Chihuahua became extremely aggressive when I attempted to put her collar on. Andrew did amazing work with our rescued American Bully, Odin. He didn't have a lick of sense and very little confidence. I saw a difference after just one session . I think I even told him that I didn't know what he whispered in his ear, but thank you!! I now have a well rounded, well mannered, for the most part, Lol.
