When you go into this place you just feel like you're going to get some stuff accomplished. They have everything laid out and in an inspiring way. You walk in there and you feel like you're a professional painter. Tarps rollers tape the whole nine! It takes a little bit of time to get your order. Texas Paint on Lovers Lane is wonderful. They carry the top designer paints of Benjamin Moore and Fine Paints of Europe. From the manager, assistant manager, design consultant to all colleagues on staff, this place is the most professional and helpful paint store ever. Brenda Bond, Decorating Specialist, provided an affordable 90 minute interior and exterior consultation at our home. Her advice was perfect, and she even sent shutter style : color recommendations by text over Thanksgiving. Then she arranged almost a complete rebate of her design fee when we purchased the paint. Our project was complicated. Shannon Wolf and Ryan spent a great deal of time explaining which prep products would give us the best results. Everything worked together to create the magic we hoped for. Their Historical Paint Collection works beautifully on older homes. We had our painter bid for the work only so we could purchase the highest quality paint from the store of our choice. The paint is much prettier than the previous so-called match by another company store. This is the only paint store we will ever use. So many designers post Benjamin Moore paint colors on Pinterest. I am a installer that recommended Texas Paint to Janeys boss. Brenda @ T.P. went out of her way her way to provide excellent service to her customer. After they received their wallpaper, the customer decided not to have it installed. I am the assistant manager of the Texas Paint here in Plano. I love my job because I work for a great company. They're not only good to their customers, they're good to their employees. During the summer I got a really bad case of pneumonia. They never let me miss a paycheck even though I was't able to work. Update 5/23/18 - Changing my review. I wanted to give this place another shot since it’s so close to work BUT had be sure their employees had improved first. So I walked in and headed to the paint chip section and was almost immediately greeted by a friendly employee who told me to let her know if I needed anything. Another guy (who turned out to be the store manager) was helping another customer and it sounded like they were having a great time talking to each other. Once they were done, the manager helped me with my order, and was very knowledgeable about the paint qualities and color, and super friendly. So... yay! I now have a super convenient place to purchase my paints, and now feel much more comfortable recommending them. Thank you, Grady (mgr) and Joseph Long (gen mgr; no relation to me)!From January-ish: Nice layout, clean store. I was there to get samples of Benjamin Moore paint but was not greeted or acknowledged by any of the 5 employees there... UNTIL I was walking out and they told me "thanks for coming in". When that's what you're told after not being offered assistance it feels more like they're saying "thanks for leaving". I wasn't impressed. More...
