Great food. My 10 ye old even went up and loudly said "REALLY GOOD FOOD. THE BEST!" The lady at the front made a mistake of not giving us our free kids meals with our adult orders. But my husband and I just let that go. I went up and ordered a large bowl of noodles that was supposed to be $10.99. So, earlier in the year, a friend and I tried teriyaki madness and were extremely disappointed and even angry with the service and the food. We came in close to closing, I know I am a server too, but still had a half an hour. We were not greeted but instead told right off the bat they were closing, just so you know, they said. And not all of the foods on the menu were going to be available, as it was so close to closing, they would not be making any new, and there wasnt much left. WOW!! The kid at the till proceeded to take my friends order, very curt and short, and cashed her out. He then ignored me, and acted as tho they were closed and her order was the last one of the night. Even tho we came in together and were clearly having dinner together. I said, excuse me, may I order too please? He acted surprised as tho I just popped up out of thin air, although I had been standing there the whole time and he knew it. We got our food and it had over cooked dry meat, mushy singed veggies and oily oily rice. Horrible. Old. Food. We took it to go because we weren't sure if we would be kicked out at close anyways, with the way things were going. We would not be going back. Ever!! Well a friend told us to try again after I told her the story, and very reluctantly, we tried again. And much to our suprise.... the service was amazing, the food awesome and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing and we enjoyed ourselves very much. We will definitely go again. The 1st time getting take-out in April, just after the grand opening, I had the spicy chicken bowl with veggies; no rice. Â It was fabulous ! Â Plenty of freshly stir-fried cabbage and seasoned, spicy chicken, that wasn't soggy from too much sauce. Â Unfortunately, I recently had take-out again, same order, and it tasted and looked like it had been sitting in the bottom of a hot tray at a Chinese buffet for 3 hours . Â The cabbage, the little there was, was limp and drenched in sauce and the chicken was dry and over-cooked and the amount of sauce was overwhelming...it literally could have been poured off into a cup for measuring. Â Not sure I'll spend that much $ again for a disappointment. Â What happened?As a follow up:Today I went back to try it again. Â The store was clean and welcoming. Zach, my order-taker was friendly and very helpful in ordering. Â My certificate was not at the cash register as Aaron had stated even though I showed Zach the review and reply, but Zach made the discount work. (Had to purchase a drink to make that happen). Â Total after discount was $21 and change and we carried it out. I realize now that all of the liquid in my bowl, which happened again today, was really due to the double veggies I order which leach water when cooked (see photo). Please be aware of this if not ordering rice. Â My husband ordered what I had but with Teriyaki Beef instead. Â I'm sad to say that his beef was hard like jerky. Â I tried it and he was right. Â He didn't want to eat it all so I gave him 1/2 of mine which was delicious! Â He says he may return but won't order beef again. Â I will increase my stars from 2 to 3.
