Our 14-yr old Emotional Support and Therapy sweet dog went to Rainbow 🌈 Bridge and 3-weeks later we rescued 2 dogs … one from HSV’s Friends of Rescue a 3-yr old 45-lb male “boxer” dog and the another from Attalla’s Rose Acres a 16-month 40-lb male “border collie-whippet” dog.
Both are mixed breeds, are extremely sweet, great with other dogs, and are now best friends/brothers!!
Turns out one dog has an extreme jumping “center of attention - a ham” personality and the other dog has a very shy, scared, and afraid/growling at the boyfriend personality.
Since we are strong advocates of AKC Good Citizenship Certificate, we knew we needed immediate help to correct their behaviors. After a few Google searches, I found Bark, completed the application, and within an hour Lee Bourgeois from TN Valley K9 was calling me. The very next evening, we were having our first 1-hr lesson focusing on the jumping and growling issues. Lee turned out to be an enthusiastic individual that tailored the lesson to our dogs and our personalities. You know, the human behavior that we as dog owners can consistently repeat. We drove away with skills to practice and have had our second lesson already too. Thank goodness TN Valley K9 was around to help us get our new dogs on the right path!

We sent our high energy one year old pup to Lee and he did wonderful! She was there for one month and came back a whole new dog, and didn’t lose her spirit at all (I feared she would). She’s the same dog, but with manners! We have a newborn so we wanted her to stop jumping, learn to stay in place, and be able to walk off leash and she can do all of that and more! It’s so wonderful. Is for puppies from 3 months old
They will learn potty training crate training and manners such as play biting jumping chewing
Basic Obedience board and train
With the 2 weeks basic obedience board and train you dog will learn all basic obedience and manners
Sit down come place and walk nicely on a leash
Basic obedience off leash program
3 week board and train
The dog will learn manners,sit,down,wait,heel,come and off around distractions
Behavioral modification
This is for dogs with behavioral problems lunging on the leash reactive to other dogs walking barking constantly any aggressive behaviors
