I don’t typically write reviews but I need to share how wonderful Tina is…she responded quickly on a Sunday morning and granted my urgent and very specific request for a floral birthday cake for a very special 98th birthday delivery. This review is a little embarrassing for me to write, but I have a story to tell about the absolute wonderfulness of Tina at the Tea Rose Flower Shop. I received a call recently from Tina asking when I would be home for a flower delivery. We arranged a time and I then found a small box outside of my front door. When I opened it, I found a very pretty pink rose wrist corsage from my friend Matt. It was lovely, but I was confused. I'm quite a bit too old for prom and have been somewhat housebound due to a spinal injury. Also, Matt lives in California, so we had no plans to go anywhere together. Thinking the corsage may have been a mistake, I called the shop, explained, and asked Tina if she would double check the order. She did, and found that the corsage was the correct order. When I asked if I could disassemble it to maybe float the roses in a bowl, she said she would bring me something else. The next time I opened my front door, I was astonished to find one of the most beautiful flower arrangements I have ever seen. They had to have cost way more than the corsage originally ordered. And, it turns out that Matt, who is an uber romantic, choose a corsage in memory of one he bought for me 40 years ago when we attended the Black and White Ball together. Thus, my embarrassment. Cannot recommend enough! I used Tea Rose for a bridal shower. Tina was amazing - so quick to respond, really kind, and super flexible! The flowers were absolutely beautiful and lasted such a long time! Everyone at the shower commented on how beautiful the arrangements were! We had a pizza themed shower and Tina was more than happy to accommodate my tomato can request! It was so cute! I will definitely be using Tea Rose again in the future. Disappointed because I drove 20 minutes to get flowers and greeted by a closed store and this sign. I chose this store because it was 4:30 and the hours show open till 6. Don’t post open hours if you don’t have open hours! Adding on after owner's response: I couldn't even come in to shop and there were no payments involved. See photo of the sign. Your response isn't looking so good for you right now....If you're open, why is the sign on your door that you're not? You wasted my time to drive over there. Honestly I was really upset and I feel bad leaving this review altogether. I'm sure you're a great flower shop and I don't want to ruin your business. I can't say enough good things about Tina and her flower shop. Very disappointed with the arrival time and delivery of the flowers I ordered. I understand its the holidays and you guys may have been overwhelmed, but don't make delivery time promises you can't keep. What I'm most upset about is how the delivery driver left the arrangement out in the cold, because he did not seemingly knock after trying the doorbell that's purely there for decoration at this point, and directly in front of the door so anybody inside couldn't actually open the door to get the flowers without knocking over the vase and further damaging the arrangement.
