I had the pleasure of working with Willie to cater a meal for my Grandmother’s birthday party. He was very friendly and accommodating as we had requested a special dish which he gladly made for us. Chef Willie and his wife Shante are the sweetest people you will ever meet. To their humble personalities, the amazing food and their wonderful hospitality. Tattle Tales catered our wedding and everyone loved the food. We had wrapped bacon shrimp and mini crab cakes for appetizers, fried fish, blackened chicken, mac & cheese, yams, green beans, salad, and alfredo pasta for the entrees. What’s your signature dish?
We do not have a signature dish. We believe that our signature dish is every dish that we make. We believe in making every dish to the best of our ability. We are always soliciting feedback and making changes to perfect our dishes.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Before crafting a menu, we ask questions and listen to our clients to ensure that we understand their vision and theme for their event. Then we base our selection off of what they have told us.
What do you love most about your job?
We love cooking for people. We love the fact that I get to be apart of some of the biggest days of the lives of our clients. We love the opportunity to be able to meet different people from different backgrounds.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The love for cooking and working with people. Being a caterer is a really challenging yet fun and rewarding. We wanted to build something that we would be proud of.
