Tail Tales Academy

I really appreciate the customer service at Tail Tales Academy. When we were originally scheduled, an unexpected issue came up and our original trainer could no longer pick up Rocky. The Academy quickly called me, apologized, and arranged for a replacement trainer.

Thankfully, we had the opportunity to work with Anthony. With his experience in dog training in military service, he was confident, assertive and effective with our stubborn husky. Rocky had a serious counter-surfing problem, he would even jump on our table. After training with Anthony, Rocky came home and tried to test boundaries, but with the techniques Anthony taught us, he listened right away.

Now, Rocky can sit, lay down, and roll over on command, and his leash manners have improved a lot. Anthony was detailed, went above and beyond with detailed videos during Rocky’s stay and even shared links to all the equipment he used. On drop-off day, he spent a lot of time teaching us how to continue Rocky’s training so we can be successful in the long run. If you get the chance to work with Anthony, I highly recommend him. We had the absolute pleasure of working with Gala from Tail Tales Academy, and we truly couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Gala went above and beyond in every way. Her professionalism, patience, and genuine care for our dog Alfonzo stood out immediately.

She not only helped him make real progress, but also made us feel confident and supported throughout the process. The training was tailored, thoughtful, and delivered with so much dedication. Alfonzo has grown so much, and it’s all thanks to her consistent guidance and encouragement.

Absolutely amazing to see Maggie our German Shepherd after a course with John. Maggie was so calm and confident, she is now able to mix with other dogs off leash and just enjoy herself. The team was very responsive and helpful and made our needs feel heard and addressed. The level of personalisation for each dog is great. We loved getting updates and seeing his progress so felt very secure sending him away for his training. The support for follow up is also great (as nothing is solved instantly) and it’s helpful to be able to have the opportunity to ask more questions and get help even after the training. Each offering and trainer is different so recommend you do your research because you know what’s right for your dog but this was great for us!
