What do you love most about your job?
One aspect I find particularly rewarding about my job as Operations Manager at Strategic Security Inc. is the opportunity to foster teamwork and contribute to the growth and success of the company and its personnel. What inspired you to start your own business?
What truly inspired me to start my own business was the desire to create a company that directly reflected my values and vision. I wanted to build a workplace where employees felt valued, supported, and had opportunities for growth, rather than just being another cog in the machine. Seeing the success and positive impact we've had on our team and clients has been incredibly fulfilling, and it constantly motivates me to keep pushing forward and expanding our reach.

While Strategic Security Inc. primarily provides on-site security services, we do offer certain services remotely. We conduct initial consultations and proposal discussions via email and phone. For instance, we sent a business proposal to Julio Pazmino for security guard services in Winter Haven, FL, and communicated about the terms and scheduling remotely. Similarly, we discussed contract revisions and shared necessary documents like the W-9 form and certificate of insurance with Carlos Alberto via email. We also handle inquiries and provide information regarding our services, such as clarification on vehicle charges for patrols, through email correspondence. While our physical security personnel are deployed on-site, the administrative and client communication aspects of our services can be managed remotely.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
At Strategic Security Inc., we have implemented several measures to ensure the safety of our customers and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our insurance provider, Central Insurance Agency Inc., has confirmed that our policies, including General Liability and Workers Compensation, were bound on January 30, 2025, and their office is currently working remotely due to COVID-19. This indicates an industry-wide recognition of the need for remote operations to minimize contact.
We also ensure our employees are well-informed and follow necessary precautions. For instance, we applied for an EIDL loan for recent hurricanes that affected our operating counties, which also helped us address the broader impact of the pandemic. We prioritize the well-being of our personnel, which in turn contributes to the safety of our clients. Additionally, we are mindful of situations that may cause disruptions, as outlined in a "force majeure" clause, which protects parties from liability due to "greater forces" like natural disasters or a pandemic. This demonstrates our awareness and preparedness for unforeseen circumstances that could impact safety.
